Hey Smugsy - why always the exclamation marks at the end of sentences to make your points. Sure sign of poor character and weakness. If you want to carry on with this then lets go back a bit in this thread eh? Don't really want to go over old ground but you wont let it go. When you first commented on the "ball over the line" issue, you were adamant it had gone out of play before we scored - agreed? When I mentioned that the rules state the whole of the ball has to cross the line for that, you came back saying.......Ahh, I've looked at it again on the video and am prepared to concede it hadn't gone out. Now that suggests one of two things. Firstly, your eyesight is poor and you genuinely missed the fact that the ball hadn't completely crossed the line (quite a common affliction to one-eyed fans), or secondly and more likely, that you didn't know the laws of the game concerning that ruling. Now I'll leave others to make their own decision but I think your eventual admission that it hadn't gone out of play was a face saving exercise to conceal your ignorance of the law, and all this crap about it since is your way of avoiding that fact.
And I think you have only just learnt that rule and that was why you got all over excited about telling us about it! If I wanted to avoid anything I could have just not bothered to admit I had looked again and changed my mind! I learnt all the rules of football by the time I was 12 years old my friend.. you clearly didn't, but its nice for you to have something new and shiny to get all excited about..good for you. Yep we know, you've told us - you been playing football since you were 6........ For someone who's probably seen as something of an elder statesman on here, you're far to easy to take apart. I'd better leave you alone now before you fall apart altogether. Like the other thread you kept banging on in, I'll let you have the last word. Wasn't it just!!!!!!!!!!!!!........(note the exclamation marks ) Sorry to take the mickey banksy - it's just forum stuff. I don't do malice - there's little point on a faceless forum - it should be just a mixture of serious football chat amongst fans and inter club banter between clubs. I enjoyed the sparring on these couple of threads and said I'll let you have the last word - feel free but please don't mention the donkey jackets again.
