Morning all, just the two for today, betting bank stands at £265 (-£35)

    1 00 Ayr - Havana Jack - 13/2 - win
    3 30 Newmarket - Jallota - 7/1 - win

Looks like these two could be the last system selections for a few days, so hopefully two winners before the few days break!

I am keeping well out of this, mainly because in my long life I've seen more "systems" in this game than young Chelsea's had hot dinners. :emoticon-0101-sadsm

However, I do wish you luck with this go at a system; I will observe with interest.

First time I have looked at this thread Chelsea, not for me but I wish you well with it.

It's a pity some people always look to post negativity rather than just keeping their gobs shut!

It's MY opinion that there is only one system to guarantee you winnings, and that is doubling stakes after a losing bet, and reverting to original stake after a winner. The big problem of course is with a losing run of just 7, to a £1 starting stake, you will already be nearly 200 quid in the hole, and when you eventually DO get a winner (at at least evens) there is every chance your account will get restricted!

But crack on fella, I will watch with interest :)

Using that system Reebs reminds me of something I came up with a while back, which was picking any team and backing it for a draw. As far back as I remember, no team has gone through a season without drawing. At the moment we have 4 teams in the 4 top flight leagues that have not yet drawn:

Championship - Sheff Utd, Ipswich, Notts F
    League 1 - Bristol Rovers

Normally, draw odds are around 5/2, sometimes higher but never as low as 2/1 so you could formulate a staking system other than doubling. As you say though, it's virtually guaranteed a profit - provided you can afford to keep going and the you can actually place the bet when stakes get high

Imagine you'd just have to use the martingale method of double your stake until it comes in.

    10
    20
    40
    80
    160
    320

Problem is if they go even another 6 games without one that's £320 bet and you'd be 630 down. Could quite easily leave it until the end of the season and as Reeb said you would never get like 10k on it anyway.

That's why I never bothered with it. If you have a
enough money to see you through a long losing streak, there's not much need to do it. Or, knowing my luck, I'd start off with a penny and the first game would be a draw. Finished, I won <laugh>

    3 55 Nottingham - England Expects 4/1
    7 55 Dundalk - Clear Skies 11/8
    8 25 Dundalk - Tildas Icon 25/1 - e/w

    Good luck all!

Good luck with this Chelsea. I will be following at a distance...not getting involved though. My 4 rules of betting are quite simple and probably obvious (it's as far as my system goes anyhoo)

    1) Never change your mind from your initial gut feeling
    2) Never bet ante post - mugs game
    3) Generally bet only when big meetings -usually saturdays and in particular in the big races as trainers are usually trying their best to win them. Unlike all the fun and games in the week at the tin pot meetings and it's too impossible to figure out who is up to what games..
4)If drinking make sure your bets are on before the racing starts and no bets on course ( you get better terms online anyway).

Good rules to have Captain Pops, and no more truer than the first one,

Take the weekend as an example, did a 6-fold BTTS, was originally going for Fiorentina/Roma for the Italian one but changed my mind while doing it and swapped it for Chievo and Napoli, you guessed it, they all came in including Fiorentina/Roma apart from Chievo/Napoli which ended up a 0-0!

Barren run extends by another 2, really annoying me now. Maybe it's because I'm being too impatient, and want a couple of wins big time, trust it to have one of the regular blips it does have right at the beginning though. That's 9 now. Fair enough 6 of them have been double-figured odds, but nonetheless very annoying.

Wonder why Tildas has been backed from 25s into 10s
