Ha ha. Like The Dell, been there many times to the Dell in 70s, 80s, early 90s. Had pals who were students in St Mary's so went out a fair bit in Soton too. New Yorks, jesters etc...

Know Archers Road well, but this guy knows nothing about football. Sky gen fan?

    Don't be a ****.

I've been in the Dell when there was 28,000 there.

Edit; and Stamford Bridge when there was about 16,000. Mind you, it was a **** place to watch football then.

Yes, I went to the Dell in the 70s when Osgood played for you, there was 26k there. Mainly Chelsea.

When did you see 28k at The Dell? Or is this another 'I saw KDB play for Chelsea' fantasy?

They sold him to Wolfsburg for a reported £18mill.

Wonder how much he’s worth now!?....

April 1978, vs spurs, in the 2nd division.

Yes, quite a few of those were spurs fans. Certainly not most.

I saw Osgood play quite a few times. For us, and for you.

We bought him for around same price from Genk.

Jose gave him a couple of starts, KDB did not track back enough, so he was dropped for Mata then Schurrle if I recall correctly

I’d rate him in the top three attacking mids in world football. Not sure you could put a price on him nowadays.

Yes, did you come to the Cup replay at the Bridge in late 70s. You were holders, and 42k turned out to see Ossie back at the Bridge. You got 3 in extra time :(

Good to see you back out of your cage. Have you ripped up your Matic poster?

    As I said ^^^^ rattled.

    1. You droned on about caves (but spelt it wrong)

    2. You’ve prattled on about FFP

    3. You’ve bored the entire forum with stories about your away days when you were a Chelsea fan

Otherwise known as The Triple Deirdre with Pikey.

Edit: your “victory” will be claiming that a number of people taking the piss out of you constitutes a great bite and/or you’ll refer to your Thai ladyboy who you affectionately call Nom Nom.

Nah, fraid I wasn't at that one. And I wasn't at the Bridge on NYD 2002 either, even though I had a ticket - my hangover defeated me and I ended up listening to it on the radio.

Upon reflection, I may have been confusing De Bruyne with Shurrle. Fuxakes, you let him go as well <laugh>

<laugh> Well, you get to our age, you are allowed to be confused!

I liked Schurrle too, especially against Arsenal 6-0!

You're welcome. I edited the post but your posts still seem to be waffling on about FFP, caves and imaginary 1970s away days.

    You're proper hardcore Deirdre <laugh>

I was amongst the crowd at this game...

"During the post-war years, huge crowds packed into the Dell. The attendance record was broken on 8 October 1969, when 31,044 watched Southampton lose 3–0 to a Manchester United team which included George Best and Bobby Charlton."

I saw Best too, play for Fulham. We had 55k for a Div 2 game in 70s. Bobby M played for Fulham too that day

That's one hell of a rant there pal, see this is why I thought you were a mincer, it's just hissy fit after hissy fit. Perhaps try some yoga, it will calm you down and also you get a chance to wear your leggings. Wooooooyey!
