Clams are about the worst thing you can be having with gout anyway. Need to stay away from shellfish.

Maybe, each to their own I suppose. As long as I don't have to eat that crap.

I don't eat seafood often for that reason but I do love it so will go for it when out on special occasions.

I ate a goldfish for £20 once. Easy money really.

I'd do 20 a day if possible and give up my day job.

From what I read as a kid, being Muslim I read that the 2 naturally halal things in the animal kingdom was fish and locust, locust wasn't just a delicacy but a key to survival for some.

A lot of "delicacies" today were poor people food at some point.

Only Cod? Try a meatier fish. Cod is boring in fishy world.

I mentioned that earlier that people ate some of these things because thay had to but if you don't have to you could now reconsider that action and go for a KFC instead.

A giant python in Indonesia met an unfortunate end when it was eaten after it lost a battle with a local man.

Security guard Robert Nababan encountered the snake on a palm oil plantation road in Sumatra's Batang Gansal district on Saturday.

Mr Nababan tried to catch the python, reports say, which was 7.8m (26ft) long.

It attacked him, and man and reptile fought until Mr Nababan killed it with the help of some villagers.

The guard survived with serious injuries.

The python was not as lucky as Mr Nababan - its body was strung up for display at a village, before it was chopped up, fried and eaten.

    This you @Jigsawklopp ?

When i was about 14 my mate called tickle went to market and bought a cow. We slaughtered it in his bathtub and cut it up in his kitchen to sell to the local pubs. Good little earner tbh. About 6 of us involved, didn't waste anything either.

Not for the faint hearted. It was a ****ing blood bath.

The other lads were late teens and early 20's. I was just being trained young. I can still picture it vividly now and it was about 25 years ago.
