Going on pic for pic the ball was pretty close to being out but a perfectly legitimate goal
pack ... that was a close one and again pic for pic does show a tackle that may have been a close call
Bogle, I think it was unfair to be red, it was certainly a stern talking to by ref then brandish a yellow, dame Nellie a bit "over the top" with his over the top tackle comment

Reid is getting better by the game, hope all is well!
2 weeks to mop up the injuries now! then a rejuvenated Sheff wed!

The Ref said he didn’t give Pack a second yellow because he got the ball but the follow through caused the foul, also thought his first yellow was a bit soft, again got something on the ball!

RODney - I was quoting Supcon, not berating Johnson.

Re: their goal - I (like most of us BCFC fans) thought the ball had gone out, but after seeing the replay slowed down I now think the officials got it right - I don’t think the whole of the ball was out.
I also think that Pack was lucky and I can see what Warnock means about not getting carded. The trouble is for him is that nobody listens because it’s only Warnock moaning again after a defeat.
Still, how many times do decisions go against us? I’ll take a bit of luck - we are well overdue some!!

The ball was definitely in, good goal, Pack got the ball, to have given a second yellow would have been harsh, the ref was right on both counts in my opinion.

I don't care how old you were when you started playing, the fact that it's always been the rule that the whole of the ball must be over the line to be out of play doesn't mean that it was always applied to the letter of the law.

The lower you go down the leagues and particularly at park football level which most of us have played, it wasn't always fully understood by those who played it.

All of the ball over all of the line was what I was taught in my refereeing days. It is a very difficult dividing line in so many people's minds and will always be a possible discussion point because it's only a split second in time. I haven't seen the video yet so I will reserve my decision.

Don't think so fella. top top managers do the same. blame somebody beyond the players post defeat is normal. deflection tactics. Moan at anybody then deal with the detail behind doors with players in training its a form of showing the Manager has the players backs and making a we are in it together mentality..

It was in Bristol mate.. always has been.

You get confused easily over the bridge and you seem to have only just learn't this rule, hence your over excitement about letting us all know about it, its always been applied in the game from top to bottom, just because you didn't know that doesn't change that fact!

Having now reviewed both I think the calls were right, goal should have stood and Pack shouldn't have been carded. We all know on a different day those margin calls can easily go a different. They didn't and we won, so shove it up your Ar$e Warnock!!

[QUOTE Bogle, I think it was unfair to be red[/QUOTE]

Just watched it again and I cannot agree with you JGF, Bogle went in with a 2 footed studs up lunge on MP, which is a straight red card all day long.

You don't do patronising do you!

If you cant take it.. don't do it.

Like I said take a little look at your own posts and have a think about whether you are doing to others what you don't like done to you!

I used to have a parrot - said the same thing over and over again. Sure sign of a small brain that latches on to something and can't let go

Give it up smuggsy and move on. You're sending everyone on here to sleep with your repetitive replies - let's have something original.
