Good afternoon Eire yes we were really bad at passing the ball about especially in the first half but I feel that AR has done exceptional job to date sorting out what has been left behind after are previous devious owners in Jan we need money investing in a goalkeeper I have suggested Alex Macrtney A left back Joe Bryan and possibly a striker Dwight Gayle and Henri Lansbury thrown in Scot Hogan if he came cheaply would fit the bill as well Oh how we missed a bargain with Olly Watkins he played with an assassins smile on his face
Thought the punits were saying that Brentford had been tracking Watkins as a number 1 target for 17 mths so not sure he was on our radar down in Yeovil?
Sorry to burst your bubble, but we are nobodies cup final anymore, unless you are above a certain age. Talk to youngsters away from Leeds and most don't even know what division we are in. Even my next door neighbour, who is in his late forties, has to ask me how we are doing. Out of the prem for too long, and forgotten by a whole generation of football fans.
how very sad and oh so true.which is why the fans are getting peed off once more.this man is loaded and is building on the cheap.he must be raking it in with the big crowds.leeds fans deserve better that primark players and a greek island holiday rep as a coach.
We were second best to Derby, got lucky not to concede six against the nylons, could have gone down by ten against the wendies and won the lottery when beating Ipswich wtf are you babbling bout.
No fighting, let's all agree on how we put right with what is happening with our form right now, that should calm things down
Can please someone please explain why the majority on here think that Victor Orta is doing a bad job ?. He has had one transfer window thus far and during that window he sourced Siaz... a player now worth in excess of £10 million. That financially covers any other mistakes that may have been made and it's still way too early to be able to definitively judge his other signings as some were bought for the future and some have not yet been given a chance by TC. In addition, he's secured our best young players such as Vieria, Phillips to long term contracts. Which is something that did not happen previously to Byram, Cook and Taylor. He's also now had time to judge the squad and improve it significantly over the next 2 windows, with the emphasis being placed on next summer as the best time to make those additions. Yes, we all want instant success and promotion but ripping things up and starting again is not the way to achieve our long term goals. Keep the faith and MOT as under Bates I would have rather have been non-league than put another penny in his pocket.
Hey Jammy, my problem is we have lost Green, Taylor, Bartley and Wood, and replaced them with Glory, Shaks, WJ and Old Sea Dog (no offence)
Only player amongst those that Victor is responsible for is Green. He would have seen the value in extending Woods contract a long time before any offer was actually made. It takes time to shape a squad...way more than one transfer window.
I'll accept that TC is in the process of coaching himself out of a job but to lay the blame at Orta's feet after one transfer window and what was an impressive start to the season is just ridiculous.
Yes If you sign up 15 players but are still playing right backs and midfielders as a left back then you are doing a bad job. If you sign 15 player but not one of them is the midfield general you desperately need you are doing a bad job. If you sign 15 players and not one of them is the quick winger you need, you are doing a bad job. When you replace a 30 goal a season striker with an overweight loanee, you are doing a bad job.
Thanks for your input but you do realise that football is more than the sum of its individuals and parts. Seem to remember last years PL winners finished bottom half the year before so by your reasoning they should have all been moved on.
