Utd will get left behind by City, as will every other PL club, unless the governing bodies start to take things like FFP a lot more seriously. In recent times it was the clubs owned by hugely wealthy individuals and Corps that dominated. What’s happening now is that clubs like City, PSG, and others are state owned. And those states are incredibly wealthy oil states with a virtually limitless supply of money to throw at the game.
This The game is completely ****ed when you have State sponsorship backing the finances of a few ultra wealthy clubs. It's basically a bottomless pit for them and it screws other clubs over by vastly inflating the market.
Should do, we'll be in the bottom 3 at Christmas though. Enough poor teams in this league that we should be alright, will need to spend in January though.
We spend money generated commercially. City spend money provided by their own owners sponsoring them. Your empire was built on similar foundations, an eggshell of a club full of fake. At the end of the day though, money is money, we need to spend ours better, or just show faith in our academy. And you need to own that tank top sister!
