The second was perfect, for the first I don't think the ball from Mane was great so anything in the net is fine

 

The gap between the centre backs ..........you could get 3 buses in there

 

I know. How come they don't come up with comical defending when they play us?

 

They got complacent assuming their boy Taylor would continue disallowing any goals against them

But Chelsea scored a goal with no Man Utd player anywhere near the play to let him justify disallowing it

 

if Taylor is that corrupt why didn't he just give Utd a pen or offside goal....

 

Add Mane and we're better, pace on either side is a problem for any defence.

Never said he was ****. I said he was a Chelsea reject (#fact) and only preformed in a **** league (#fact).

I did say I didn't think he'd be that great for us (as did many others but maybe not on these boards) and there were more important areas of the team to spend money on (go on, try and argue that point...).

I've already admitted he's been much better than I expected. Probably been better than anyone expected too though.

 

I don't think that's an argument though, had we sacrificed buying a centre half to buy Salah then you may have had a point, but signing Salah didn't hamper our budget and stop us buying a centre back.

 

What CB did we buy? DM? CM? Striker (as some wanted)? Keeper?

Good shout though

 

Some will just defend every action the club makes or back every signing we make. I call that blind loyalty.

I prefer to give players a chance, something I said Salah deserves despite not being impressed by his signing. I was very disappointed with the rest of our window.

 

That's not my point though, I never said we signed a CB, I said we could've signed Van Dijk regardless of signing Salah. The money we spent on Salah wasn't an issue whatsoever.
