I presume the point is to have a finger in two pies and see which works out.

What blinkers would they be? I'm looking at this with no bias whatsoever because the reality is I don't care who owns Everton it makes no difference to me and has absolutely no influence with regard to anything LFC related. This looks dodgy as anything. You always seem to have a handle on all things financial and you're not seeing it?

The cherry on the Everton cake will be if they appoint Mr Dodgy himself, Big Sam. He knows all about getting around FA rules ;)

Seeing what though? This latest 'revelation' adds nothing to what already looked obvious.

2 long standing business partners, 1 divests their interest in Arsenal, and takes control of Everton. The other stays put, tries one last time to buy the lot, gets knocked back, what's the next obvious step? It doesn't mean that Usmanov is pulling the strings at Everton currently though, as is the intimation. It's a non story, as it's nothing that wasn't already known.

I think the bit that wasn't known was the leaked documents from the law firm handling the sale of shares in the two clubs, show payment only by Usmanov not Moshiri - which [could] mean Moshiri's a front for Usmanov. And if you put this with the USM sponsorship of Finch Farm - unheard of surely, sponsoring a training ground - it starts looking like a bit of tangled web i.e. just who is financing the buy in at Everton?

What's more likely, Usmanov think's his business will benefit from the worldwide exposure offered by Everton's training ground, or that he wants his players seeing day to day that he's the real boss?

It's hilarious how blind Tobes is. I'd understand it if Moshiri had been anything but a total disaster in football terms too.

Everton looking at a points deduction over their dodgy ownership

They picked a great time to hang around the bottom of the table <laugh>

We're all guilty of blind faith on occasions, that's the problem when you're too close to something you fail to stand back and look dispassionately.

That's not what the paperwork showed though mate.

The supposed revelation was that Usmanov originally supposedly gifted Moshiri the money for his stake in Arsenal. Moshiri sold those shares to Usmanov 9 years later and used that cash to buy Everton. Moshiri owns part of USM.

    That's utter bollocks.

Ask yourself why it's only Everton being discussed in all of this, as this involves someone who owns 30% of Arsenal.........

Oh and btw Usmanov has zero influence at Arsenal as he's not in the board, he also has zero influence at Everton as he doesn't own any shares let alone a seat on the board. There's zero conflict of interest and the FA have no grounds to suggest otherwise.

Blind? I called Usmanov's potential future involvement from the off, and you called me a dreamer iirc.

    Hilarious this tbh.

By all means beat your meat thinking about the possibility, but given you've made it up, it's hardly likely to come to fruition.

I #calledit that Everton would definitely stay up, but TBF that was based on the strength of your squad not the weakness of your owners

Kane and Winks out of the England friendlies because of 'injuries'
    http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/41893269

That leaves Tripper and Rose as the only Spuds players in the squad, and Rose is unlikely to play having just come back from injury.
tbh, I'd be happy to see all the LFC players out of these friendlies as well. Unnecessary games at the wrong time of the season.

Yeah, these..... fixture dates shall we say.....are designed for play offs.

So for me. Ok these friendlies are just annoyances but in ye olden days if a player like winks pulled this he and his club would be told that he was blacklisted for England in future.

It's a joke a no mark like sinks who's barely out of nappies dares to pull the I'm injured line.

10pts would only be deducted if they survive relegation. They'll have to start the Championship 10pts down instead...
