You got to think that nearly any manager outside the top 6 would see Everton as an opportunity, if they are willing to keep putting money into the team. For some, like Silva and maybe Wagner & Hughton, it might be a season too soon to leave their respective clubs as they may want to see how they perform with their current teams.

For the likes of Dyche and Howe, they have over-achieved at their clubs and Everton should now be that next step up to see if they can get into the top 4-6 regularly, and (no disrespect to Everton) use them as a stepping-stone to one of the really big teams.

top quality. I would argue it's Ederson. That guy looks like he's going to be the next big thing.

Salah has had a huge impact. People like Richarlison were cheaper, but not on Salahs level, still very good signings though.

Salah wasn't even that expensive in today's market, his return (so far) for a winger is top quality.

I'm sticking with Salah. Good shout on Ederson though, I thought he'd be rubbish, lads done well.

Chelsea fans looking at De Bryune and Salah thinking 'bloody Chelsea rejects' <whistle>

Because he takes less mins on pitch to score a goal
than all the others ?? :)

Well done to the boy though (that is what he is paid to do) .

you don't miss what you've never had (they never played for us really).

Richarlison has 4 goals and 4 assists in a watford side. Salah has 7 goals and 3 assists in a rampant liverpool side. Would argue Richarlison is nearly on salah level at half the price :p.

Salah is basically your version of walcott. Speed merchant with dodgy finishing ability but will get goals and assists cause of speed and movement (i joke, he is far more skillful than walcott)

Obviously biased but Richarlison has been superb for us. Still has a lot to learn and can go down pretty easily at times - but also must be one of the most fouled players in the Prem so far this season... at £11.5m is looking a snip, and will go for much bigger money - if not next summer then the summer after

Chalobah has also been fantastic for us and we are missing him. A CM trio of him, Doucoure and Cleverley have worked extremely well together. At £5.5m, is probably the bargain of the season

Salah has also been great. Put him straight into my FF team. Only criticism so far from the games I have seen so far is can miss some really easy chances (Like Richarlison for us) but imagine that will improve as the season goes along too

Mooy for Huddersfield is probably another that should be mentioned

He's got 12 goals in total so he's really **** in front of goal...okaay then Bobby Dazzler.

he is **** in front of goal. However he gets plenty of chances which is better than being clinical and getting no chances (and a lot of these chances are because of his ability to move off the ball and his speed).

Would you say walcott is great in front of goal or sterling? Sterling has the exact same stats as Salah in the PL. I'm guessing he's a finishing maestro in your eyes :p

    This season he is mate.

Have a look at Salah's stats for his last few seasons, this isn't a one off.

I agree he could be a better finisher, but to have 12 goals already this season is good enough for me. I'm sure he'll improve, but like you say he gets in the positions needed to get these chances. Not bad for a winger.

i'm not denying he's an asset and i'm not knocking him as a player because he has the movement, courage and speed to get onto the end of the chances. The eye test is more than enough to let me know he's pretty poor at finishing. If he was a decent finisher, he'd have banged way more in as he misses what can quite a lot of what can be classed as high quality chances.

As for sterling, 7 goals 14 assists in last season yet i still don't rate him as a player

He's an instinctive player, give him time and quite likely he will fluff it.

Koscelny almost played him onside with his left leg...! It was marginally offside, maybe half a yard.
