Money isn't the problem or issue mate. Its people that have prevented me making money from building work

I did start it and you get the whole

    Customer: we want smaller windows.

Me: oK but your room will be very dark

Customer: its my money and my house I want smaller windows

    Me:OK

So I take out old windows, build up the wall and order and fit windows

Customers wife : this is crap, it's too dark in here now

Customer: can you change it all

Me: yes but you will have to pay for the work and windows

Customer: return the windows and get refund

Me: doesn't work like that, windows are made to order and I did tell you

Next day I knock on door to do other works and no answer. I ring no answer and I get a phone call from a bloke who asks me to leave family alone or else. I tell him to **** off so he comes down, sees its me and recognises me, apologises and tells other bloke to sort it himself.

I see customer with his son and grab and say I want my money or am gonna knock **** out of him. He agrees to pay. I get visit from 2 guys he has called, fortunately I know both so they aide with me. Customer gets called to one of the guys house and told to bring money

£4.5 k for all work I had quoted. In the end he paid me and had to get the work down ffrom someone else so probably paid double

I can't do with that headache. It's always the same. Another customer agreed price I do work. Paid in installments with a bulk at the end. I always give a breakdown etc and did all the work. He asked for more work to be done and I said I wouldn't do it straight away as I had another job. He said if you don't do this I won't pay you final sum. :emoticon-0121-angry

That'll be £185 please, on top of the 4 and a half grand quote.

That's my hourly rate and how long it took to read your last post. Next time book an appointment as well. I don't do last-minute sessions.

I tell you what though. I'll forego the cash if you can sort your windows out without killing anyone.

    Good luck mate.

Taking the family out today for a proper old school roast at a local pub in a little cove near where I live. The food there is incredible, really top quality nosh. Probably have a little walk on the beach afterwards and then hoping to take my little one along to some marshes to watch the Starling's murmurations before sunset.

That should be a nice distraction whilst Arsenal get humped at Man City .... :bandit:

Going to a non-league game then back in time for Chelsea v United. I know which game will be more entertaining.

Finished eating. Place down by the beach. We’re a bar watching the game now.

In this game I’m kinda neutral. Obviously, I’m no gooner fan, but equally I’m hoping somebody can take points off City.

PISKIES brother HIAG? I don't have any brothers. PISKIE and HIAG squabble so much if they said they were brothers I wouldn't be surprised.

PISKIE might have brother jealousy as HIAG is a Cambridge graduate, that does the marathon circuit in between gigging round the country.

It's just not fair <grr> And I'm the one who was blessed with good looks too.

S'pose it goes to prove that ugly people can still make it in life.
