Arsenal are rivals to sign a player called Goretzka from Schalke who's scored 4 goals in 10 matches from midfield. I know we have a lot of attacking midfielders but I do like the look of this footballer so let's go for him.

Real Madrid won 3-0, are they back?

They only become of interest to Spurs if both teams
reach the CL QFs. Until then, who cares now ??

I know many of you won't care what happened to Arsenal because they're Arsenal. But that highlights one of the problems with the tribal nature of football against what would be beneficial in general for all teams (well not so much for those that get more than their fair share of dodgy decisions). The fact is that the third Citeh goal was offside and the second one was debate able - by which I mean if those decisions had gone against us we'd probably feel aggrieved - and the Arsenal fans would probably laugh at us. Fact is the current arrangement of relying solely on the officials on the pitch tends to favour certain teams, and quite frankly those teams probably don't need the help! The more subjective judgement allowed the officials, the more it will be skewed in favour of those teams. I'm not saying it's deliberate, but the teams at the top get the benefit - even Leicester when they were on their fairytale (TM) - though it would have been interesting to see how the officials would have done if United were chasing them rather than us (and would United have got all those successive Monday night matches when they were on catch up?)

I don't care because the Goons (and the Sky 4 in particular) are
WELL IN CREDIT when it comes to dodgy decisions.
When these clubs have their "balance" reduced to zero, then I
am ready to discuss the problem in general.

What I'm saying is that without the officials help it would have been a draw which would have been very creditable for Arsenal considering City's form at the moment.

All I'm trying to do is measure our win against Real's form. I also like to study the form of teams in the competitions in which we are competing so I care. Anything wrong with that?

Alan Shearer says that Arsene Wenger owes Raheem Sterling for calling him a diver.

    Why? Sterling is a diver.

    Poor old Slaven.

If only Boris + Coe could have forced Spanner opponents
to have to wear white shirts + navy blue shorts when
playing at the taxpayers arena. :(

You can't say that. If the penalty isn't given it's a different game. If the 3rd is chalked for offside who's to say they wouldn't have scored a minute later

You are the one who is talking could have been... could have been 1-1.
What actually happened is Manchester City were awarded those two goals and won .
That what it says in my paper this morning.
