Yes, amazing how poor attendances were then for all clubs.

Even sides with exciting players to watch such as Spurs barely averaging 20k to watch Hoddle and Waddle.

Palace, Charlton averaging sub 10k in Div 1.

Big club like Villa 15k in Div 1. Leeds, Sunderland 13k.

Everton averaging 30k in a 50k stadium when they won the league
