i despair. I just had to tell someone a) there's no polar bears in Antarctica b) new Zealand is nowhere near Denmark. c) it's ****ing cold in Canada and they don't all just snowboard. what the ****ing hell do schools do these days... seriously.
Funny thing is, just like Halloween, it actually originated in Britain, got overdone in the US and the over the top American form returned to the UK. High School I went to in England had a 5th year ball (nothing over the top like a prom). As far as I am aware it had been going for decades. (My older siblings attended but I didn't, moved to US before getting to it). Both my parents attended "leavers balls" in England (again wasn't anything over the top). Regarding the proms though... I think Britain is overdoing what the Americans did. Reading about Primary School proms at some English schools and it makes me cringe hoping that never makes it back to the US... At least not whilst I still have kids in primary school.

Still on lad. Been seeing each other twice a week, once in the week once on weekends. Been a few months now No more real issues to report since the last thing I mentioned. Although a few weeks back had a bit of a tiff after I went to meet some of her friends with her at this food/drink festival thing which lasted for like 6-7 hours on a Saturday afternoon/evening. Was too long and a bit much time with all these ****ers, she was spending most of the time with her mates so I went outside to get some fresh air, phone signal and me time, she comes after me phoning me to see where I'm at. I wanted to leave really at that point, so I said so and then she got upset, cried again etc etc Worked it out after
**** she must think very little of you sounds like she thought you'd skipped out. have you skipped out on her ugly friends before?
Anyone see the article on the mirror about the house for a pound scheme. A couple had their up with refurb and it was a tually impressive.
been a few of them over the last few years & it's all good as far as i can see. If nowt else the more existing housing stock that becomes habitable & in an area on the "up" the less the pressure on greenfield sites.
Yeah, it's not easy so the offer of a free she'll is really probably the only way to make a restoration project viable. It really is complete restoration by the look of the before shots. Gut everything down to brick work.
They do a lot of those in Stoke and I think there are a few schemes in Liverpool around Toxteth and Dingle.
Italy had some such deal with some of their castles, although they were quite strick what you could and couldn't do if you got one. You were expected to invest in repairing them.
