If we had drawn that match (let alone lost it) then we'd have something to be miserable about! Instead, we can now sit back, with our popcorn, and watch, with morbid fascination, how the Gunners and the Chavs fare. I've got mine, lads...
What a twat. Everyone parks the bus against us. Only Liverpool, Real and Dortmund haven't this season and look what happened to them.
Right. Onto the rest of this afternoon's games. Two draws, some red cards, a couple of pitch invasions and freak injuries will do nicely.
Poor overall performance, but lots of injury and fitness issues. Got the points and now we need to use the break sensibly. A number of our players need to pull out and rest up.
My only complaint about today is how little our fans trusted the team to bring home the points today...they deserve our trust
I'm too smug with my spot-on call on it likely to be a turgid 1-0 affair, to rise to your bait (I would like to be smug about the win, but everyone knows that Spurs always win the PL game that follows spanking the defending champions at home in the CL) .
Well, you’re down one already, although 23 minutes in to the Chavs/Mancs game and the sendings off may come in
Quite literally the only thing he did right the entire game but kudos to him for that achievement Also shout out to My Man for taking up a good position and putting 2 good balls into the 6 yard box leading to the goal.
My daughter and I were right in line to see it curl in. It was a goal from the moment it left his boot. Unfortunately, we had perfect views of his complete waste of 2 very good chances shortly afterwards. Today, there were far too many players who really aren't a goal threat. Particularly Winks, Dembele, Sissoko. Eriksen's long-range shooting has gone to pish too. Add in that we don't score from having big centre halves up at corners either and there's plenty to address on the training ground. We won't win anything if we are overly reliant on 2 or 3 players scoring.
