    Hazard.
    Morata.
    Pedro

I think they might like maybe one back but they are just fine.

It just shows that hoarding isn't the best way to go if you supply your main rivals with players.

I would say however Mourinho is directly responsible for two of those departures which was sinful tbh.

What is everyone's thoughts on yesterday's formation and will we see klopp use it a lot or sparingly.

Midfield control was difficult I thought.

As it transpired we didnt need a midfield yesterday. I like wiji in there - quietly gets on with it. Dont like saying it cause i like hendo, but hendo has suffered the same fate as lucas, took a while to adjust, started to look a real prospect, got major injury, never been the same since :( Can is outperforming him. That said it does seem to me like Can is trying to show how good he is for whatever reason. If he signs his deal with whoever it will be interseting to see if he keeps it up.
I agree there was a lack of control in there but West Ham didnt really play so difficult to tell

Quietly is a good word. For a supposed attacking player he doesn't... well take risks. Instead he takes about 5 touches, never loses it and just moves it.

For me until the break away it was a game of head tennis with little control. Pushing ox on to almost c.f. was interesting. We held Moreno back which suggests he can follow orders so before he was ordered to push right on.

It will be interesting to see if we can carry parts forward.

Southampton are much meaner defensively so that will be tough after internationals

    Yep totally agree
Think any team would be meaner than what we faced yesterday, quite sad really
That is what i dont think you can allow fo in a fixture list, normally West Ham away, you expect a tough tough trip, but....
They are an example of a side who should not have left their ground. Poor poor decision. Glad we are still at Anfield :) - would like more seats though fsg please ;)

What I don't get is why gold and Sullivan have not sold them on and took the pay day.

They clearly bribed to and corruptly bought the rights to the stadium and thry should have them on the block and shifted.

Since they arrived they have put in long ball ****e at that club and they now have no identity at all.

They are not that far from home where they are now located but they might as well be 1000miles away.

They happy little club who bounce up and down the leagues but played great passing football and brought kids through looks gone. The only thing left is a bubble machine

    Yep, very sad.
The problem is the business side and wanting everything quick - its a chicken and egg thing.
Does the club improve the ground to improve the income or improve the team to generate the fans and revenue to build the ground?
The grounds that i grew up travelling around will be a thing of the past. Whilst amazing the emirates is not a patch on highbury, the atmos in highbury was awesome.
There are only a few clubs who can sustain a big ground and keep the atmosphere the others should be working with what they have.
If west ham go down they will be in trouble in that stadium.
Everything about yesterday (bar the result) was sad

West Ham lease use of that stadium for little more than £2m a year. Relegation would make no odds whatsoever in that regard

Yeah Highbury was too good in the 30s so it got listed, funny how it goes.

Spurs are staying at home as it were but it will be different, I dunno how it will go tbh. I don't know if the pitch size is the same, how that big bank thry want to ape the pop with will go. Etc etc.

Southampton built st Mary's and went down... I've never asked their fans how they view the ground.

In many ways though...... its not the staium size its tge amount of day trippers and corporate sests thst drtermine athmosphere.... how ticket sales on the pop are allowed I don't know.. I really don't.

I believe the contract even reduces the payments in relegated?

I'm not sure but the thing can't have been done fairly as even the mostbincompetant clown would not agree the deal West ham got.

Spurs win but CP were well in that game to the last.......Zaha <doh> how did he miss that chance. Credit to Hodgson, he is getting plenty of
desire out of his players. And that's good going when you've been out all night hunting mice

in fairness they might as well lose by 50 as 1 there.

    they still lost.

he is not the guy to get goals out of a side so they are bang in trouble.

the 2 couldn't control MF but away from home do they as a 3 ?
it was interesting & seemed to confuse WHam but deffo leaves us (even more ) vulnerable.
Mainly just glad to see at least some thought given to amending our shape depending on the circumstances .

Yeah... it was an option to change to.

with gomez at RB for the foreseeable its something we might see more of. If lallana gets back in ahead of ox or coutinho then he might make it work a bit but it should take a while for him to really be any way fit.
