Doesn't matter what the fan did/said...pretty cowardly to kick someone in the face with a football boot.
Not sure that 'cowardly' is the right word. 'Wrong' is probably a better one. And I wouldn't bother putting the distinction of the kick being administered with the help of a football boot either. A kick in the face is just wrong, barefoot or booted. Whatever the provocation, one just doesn't do it. After that is said and done, one could make the distinction, especially for a person in his position [role model for behaviour], etc...
Wong and stupid to hit him, but when I said cowardly I meant using effectively a weapon against an unarmed man.
Matt Paterson, scorer of our first goal in league one, scored the winner for Oxford City against Colchester in a FA Cup upset today. Love the first round of the FA Cup
Clubs are businesses worth a fortune....owners appoint managers to safeguard their investments....they aren't in the business of developing new managers. May be annoying if you are up and coming and want a chance, but that's the reality of the situation.
Considering the ridiculous amount of money in football I find it strange that so few footballers are convicted of drugs offences?
Players are athletes, so why risk your lucrative career....especially as they are blood tested so frequently.
https://uk.yahoo.com/sports/news/oystons-ordered-buy-blackpool-shareholder-162537480.html Oystons told to buy out a minority shareholder at Blackpool after they stripped the club of money after their EPL season. Disgraceful.

Skates asking fans to vote on a new club crest: http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/football/pompey/pompey-release-new-crest-designs-1-8234837 Number 6 is horrid... shall we hijack it and all vote for number 6?
