PS, http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/championship/promotion West Ham are now unanimous favourites.
We might have saw out the game with ten men at 2-0, but when we were only one goal ahead with 10 men, and without a quality goal-keeper, away from home against a team that hates us, then it was too much. I'm sorry, but the reason that Kasper was sent off was because the Forest players tried to retrieve the ball from the back of the net but Schmeichel picked it first and they all appealed to the ref like kids crying to their mummy. Of course, when the ref turned round, he saw Kasper throwing the ball and booked him again - he could have had a word with everyone and calmed everything down, but he thought he'd ruin the match by sending the keeper off. Terrible, terrible refereeing. Regarding aggression, I just saw a Man City and Bolton player kicking out at each and pushing when they got up from a tackle. Did the ref book anyone? No, he calmed the situation down, like any good ref would.
that's irrelevant, the conversation about who is favourite to win the league was regarding right now. I said it would have been pretty standard had we lost away to the favourites today, and you said "that's funny you weren't playing us today". Which is when I took the piss, and you backed it up with out of date information, which is not relevant when the subject was in the present. I'm afraid you've just been lawyered.
Put a monkey on Palace. Megabet tip. Monster, monster. PS we're still third favourites, therefore, still fancied for promotion. Whereas Leeds....
Still irrelevant, I specifically mentioned playing away at the favourites and you then tried to claim you were the favourites. You lost the argument, get over it.
Not at all. My initial comment about us being favourites was a bit of banner. I then added that we WERE pre-season favourites - to which YOU provided irrelevant information. It really is terribly embarrassing to act smart when you've got your facts wrong.
it was a bit of banter, then I laughed at you for actually thinking you were favourites ahead of west ham, and then said "we were with a lot of bookies" (the irrelevant point, because I was referring to now) and then told me to get my facts straight. I had my facts straight, you're not the favourites to win the league.
Boring. The fact of the matter is we were favourites to win the league, we're still third favourites, and Leeds are nowhere. End.
Southampton have better odds than you. Your odds will continue to drop as you continue to have underwhelming results. When you lose at the weekend to Southampton, the gap will widen.
Maybe. Or, just maybe, Southhampton will do what most newly promoted clubs do and fall away, why we continue improve. The great thing about football is you never know.
They most likely will fade away and stabilise and end up in the playoffs. But I'm finding it more and more likely that Leicester won't grow into the amount of money they've spent.
You're entitled to your opinion of course, but for me there's too much quality (and don't forget, we'll still be signing a quality striker - eventually!) for us not to come good. Definite signs of cohesion yesterday, for the first time really, and starting to develop a better shape. I'm excited!
with that in mind I don't believe you give Leeds enough credit, yes you're showing quality but like you all keep saying you have no real good goalscorers. We can't stop banging them in. Slow start, yes, but we've shown today and tuesday we still have one of the most deadly attacking forces in the league, goals come from all over the pitch.
What a totally emotional thread, just glancing through it makes me think I watched the game, cheers guys & well done Leeds!
Well excuse me Mr Moderator - Didn't I do just that - Get you (yes I know the emoticon has nothing to do with my post - I just wanted to use it)
Emilio, I'd give Dangerfox a 606 slap. He argues with anybody and everybody. Maybe the 'emoticon' (or even the emotion) is getting to him...
