Thank you. Well, I couldn't just stand by when you said you're losing your connection with the club. You took a little piece of my heart with you
Indeed. Also a huge trait of Big Sams, although in a slightly different way. Mourinho is one of the best undoubtedly too. He's the very best at creating the 'them vs us' siege mentality.
Hmmm. I think Mourinho is a far better tactical manager than a ‘psychological’ manager. MP1 the other way round. The one who had both was Fergie.
The match report I gave to one of my friends was basically that a confident, motivated side wins that game 2-0. Even with Tadic on the right. We didn't lose today because we miss Mane and Pelle. We didn't lose today because Burnley went all Watford on us.
Well, I have gone to Eastleigh for the very reason that Premier League football lost its appeal. The Conference is brilliant. The whole experience is brilliant. Already I feel a part of the club. I have met the owner, I regularly chat with the chief executive and most other club officials. I’ve sat next to and chatted with managers from other clubs etc etc etc. The quality of football is good, no (and I mean NO) histrionics from the players, an all round great experience. Eastleigh aren’t even doing that well at the moment either. I still love Saints and a result like today’s totally kills my weekend. But, was I glad I wasn’t at St Mary’s today.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! That is all I have to say.
Whilst you are quite correct FLT, I would like to ask you a question? Do you still go to the same pub when the beer is flat? You stop using it until that pub gets it right again. Looking at your final sentence, I do not do Cup Finals and never will. Period!! When I get a chance again, I will come to St Mary's and watch the Saints again.
Both agree and disagree, agree that they are both stronger than the other in the departments you mention but I still think Mourinho excels in creating them v us sort of mentality. It's what he's always doing when he makes stupid comments in interviews. On Fergie undoubtedly, don't think there will ever be another like him tbh.
True. Pardew would probably do alright as a replacement for MP2.... We'd just have to remember to sack him in March when we're 5th
I'm married with two teenage kids. The only pub I got to go it was the old farmhouse and there, if the beer was ONLY flat, you were lucky
\if we talking replacements, what about Japp Stam? He knows the PL, and I believe he is a far better manager and will prove to be as Reading finally gather some momentum. Having said this, let's see if MPdos can turn things around.
