We are already in a relegation dog fight, with a six point head start. We might be glad of the start come May.
Its my birthday tomorrow and Rad is going to give me the most expensive present anyone ever has. TC and Orta sacked and someone English and decent coming in.
But it’s not just today Marcos, it’s every game. Fans can’t do anymore than they’re doing, filling Elland Road for every game despite the rubbish being served up. I also agree with the idea of big Sam. Give him the 20m in January for players. We know it won’t happen of course
I disagree, but agree about Weinwald, who was TC's choice. We had a great start to season with new overseas players playing in championship for first time, they hit the ground running. They still had to pass, get around and run past players to score, and they did, many times over. We had more shots on target, we had more defence splitting passes, we had better football and more accurate passing, we were scoring multiple goals and had a stretch of clean sheets and were playing with confidence and commitment higher than a throng of Angels singing Marching on together. Then, at the Millwall match it all started to crumble as TC started tinkering, the players lost confidence, commitment and inspiration, the umph and get up and go attitude was dwindling till it's finally looking like the slops at bottom of a beer barrel. IMO, we have the players, who have the necessary skills, what we don't seem to have is a coach who knows how to inspire confidence in the players and team. He doesn't seem to know what are the problems and what subs we should bring on, he's also very stubborn refusing to give the likes of Cibicki and Klitch game time, yet we lose the midfield every game. We have the players, we know they can do it cos we've seen it, we don't have a coach who knows how to turn a bad run around. Saying we were playing bottom of the league teams is bullshite cos no one knew they were bottom of the league teams back then.
TC: "We need to come out of this situation. If we don't have faith and belief we should go home. We are fighters." "I believe it was a game we should win. The team deserved more. With bad results, it's difficult." TC said he expects to be in charge for the Middlesbrough game. Believes he can turn this run around.
What's galling is that Bartley hasn't even made the Swansea team for the last 3-4 matches or subs bench. (don't know if injured or not to be honest) He was one of our leaders last season, no doubt about it. I watched Pontus when he kicked the ball like an exocet to Ayling and it flew into touch and he just laughed. It really wouldn't surprise me in the least if Pontus didn't give a rat's arse if TC was fired tomorrow or not. I am not trying to stir it, but there are problems for sure.
I can see you are replying to someone I ignore so will take the chance to say I was saying way back in August and September that our first games were against those that would be fighting against relegation. A third of the season gone snd it seems I called it right. The bed wetting about beating Burton was pathetic, they were ****e, although they would give us a game now!
Cheers Eire! Didn't know that. I sure do wish we had someone with his presence and authority at the back. It's sorely missed.
Something positive from tonight was Viera....Fair play to the lad for getting stuck in and came close with a good shot as well.
