Well guys, that tops off the mother of all rubbish days. My wife and son went away yesterday evening for a weekend in England seeing her family. She booked it saying that I would have a child free weekend to enjoy the football and some peace and quiet. This morning, I locked myself out of the flat. I have kind friends who have let me watch the game at their flat, and I will sleep on their couch tonight. I watched the game with a six year old asking me every question imaginable about the match. I drew the line when he asked me what 'offside' is. Add to that the fact we got stuffed.
Oh what a difference a win would have made today. Losing 4-0 really isn't acceptable after two such excellent results. It does rather feel like a 'back to the drawing board' moment - which is rather sad really! If it had been 1-0, it wouldn't have been quite so bad ... but 4-0!
I prefer to look on the bright side, not as good as a 1 or 2 nil, but beats the socks out of a 7 or 8 nil
Thanks. I really think Ollie needs to play one system and stick to it. I think he over-complicates things at times.
Most games awaiting first away win v one team... QPR 34 v N Forest ... still active Ipswich 33 v Liverpool ... since ended Preston 32 v Sunderland ... since ended
Just got home and seen the score, nice to see normal service resumed. Only consolation is the Budgies losing to Bolton.

Forest were the better team today. We played well for only the first 12 minutes, but then they scored and we really did not look like getting back in the match. They were lucky with the first goal and the third looked like a blatant foul on Scowen. However, they could have scored a lot more. Their counter attack overwhelmed us, whilst our attacks were slow and clumsy. I hope that we take lessons learned!
I went to Borehamwood v Blackpool so haven't followed how we lost but the decision to bring Lynch back in and therefore mess the whole defence about can't have helped. We looked solid on Tuesday especially when Furlong came on. Why change it to accommodate an oaf like Lynch?
Maybe but it’s just one result Col You know football You know this division. There will be plenty more weird results in terms of score lines by next May guaranteed imo We have matched and beaten by far the two best footballing teams I have seen so far. One step back for us today that’s about it imo We have a team currently that works hard we can still have a very good season imo
I don't think he does necessarily. This one was just a particularly stupid one and that didn't require hindsight. There was very little to gain by making the change he did. Was it a five or Baptiste at right-back?
