The Charlie Hall looks a really good renewal- Cue Card previous winner, multi g1 winner 3 of the 4 faves for the GN (VLR, BL & DR) Bristol de Mai with softer the better Couple of 2nd season and maybe progressive horses in DS & Virgilo and of course Coneygree who gets weight from most of them and looked like he retained all his ability previous run. Cracking racing day for all, some good races at HQ, jumps at Ascot and of course the Breeders Cup
Down Royal JN Wine Champion Chase Grade 1 - Winner gets €82,600 Auteuil Grand Prix D'Autumne Grade 1 - Winner gets €233,100 Wow
Three Grade 1's on the Sunday at Auteuil; winners get £103,846, £134,616 and £211,539. Great weekend's jumps racing in Paris which I have unfortunately had to miss this year.
Morning guys I'm going for YELLOWHAMMER 4.0 Newmarket won last time out whilst in season at kempton aw hit 999/1 on betfair and came with a wet sale....wish I could take that price again today but looking like 5/2-7/2 is starting price. GL if you play
The sudexo at ascot looks a cracker. If he shows some of his old ability the young master is on a good mark with a 5lb claimer Cheers.
Charlie Hall chase: Definitely Red 8/1 each way. I know on paper not as good as some of these but I get the impression there is improvement to come...is okay on soft and goes well at Wetherby.
Don't shoot the messenger but been given Verdana Blue 3.00 Ascot SBC normally knows about Nicky the needle's horses so interesting to hear what he knows currently 7/1 GL if you play as always
What a rousing victory for good old Cyrus Darius at Ayr. Hopefully he can go on from that and stay injury free
Sad for Coneygree connections there. Talented but fragile. Cue Card has surely done enough now. Having said that will probably rock up at Haydock next month and win.
Definite changing of the guard in my eyes Chan - Coneygree and Cue Card have had their days, smart performance from Bristol De Mai and plenty of up-and-coming stayers to fight out this season's Grade 1 prizes.
So relieved Coneygree and Cue Card are OK. Good afternoon's racing in glorious HD, courtesy of you-know-who, and Microsoft Windows 10 too. Much appreciated by yours truly, who happens to live in a very pleasant place but a bit of a horseracing backwater. (They do muck around a bit here with Association Football though).
As that guy on ITV4 said, BDM is much better on a flat track. Would not back him at Cheltenham, for damn sure.
