Sad when you think of greats like Brian Labone, Bob Latchford, Johnny Morrissey, Alan Whittle and others. Now they find themselves in a relegation position.I even remember Roy Vernon.

Much more recently they had Southall, Radcliffe, Sharp, Gray, Sheedy etc...
But even those players were 30 years ago now - and they haven't done anything since bar one F.A. Cup win under Joe Royle.
It's a barren run for one of the most successful teams in English football and one of the "big 5" according to the media pre-PL.

Under Howard Kendall they were successful and aways good to watch Luke. I forgot Alan ball, Gary Linneker. I hate to see them like this and they'll lose Ross Barklay too. The Merseyside derby will be missed.

Apparently Patrice Evra was sent off BEFORE Marseille's EL tie for kicking his own fan in the head?! Anyone got more on that? Was Luis Suarez sitting amongst the OM fans??

I think Poch has already said he could never manage RM because his heart is in Catalonia (Espaniol). They might want him but they are very unlikely to get him, however much money they offer him. I could be a bad week for Perez, firstly Tottenham **** RM then Poch tells RM to **** off.

It would also be a mistake because I can't see Poch winning the league in his first season and he'd be sacked probably. His best bet for the time being is to stay with Spurs.

"His representatives deny that he owes nearly €3.3m (£2.9m, $3.8m) in undeclared image rights revenue."

Wow, that's a lot of dartboards.

Zidane admits to Real being outplayed by Spurs. Also suggests Spurs, with a few others could win the CL. Nice thought but who knows the future?

Fair enough, we will have it this year and we will let the 'few others' fight over it next time around.

    Cazorla should quit the game.
That is a terrible ordeal, and to recover from all that
only to play in Wenger teams is no just reward.

    Wolves 2 - 0 Fulham

If it stays the same, Wolves go top. I wouldn't mind having them back in the PL, or Sheffield United, or Bristol City, or Derby.............anyone but Leeds, basically.
