Thing is, they probably "claim" that but haven't been fir 2 years!! Git no time for people like that to be honest. They are not supporters of my club and on,y want to look out for number 1
It's chronic on there man, water of ducks back to a few I reckon, but those players doubting themselves don't stand a chance. I'd ban players from their social media for their own protection.
Aye it's a funny one as the club employ staff to keep an eye on social media accounts. Not exactly sure whether they control what a player sees mind but you can guarantee they know.
Players accounts are generally personal, some hire companies to run theirs for marketing reasons. Wouldn't want who ever runs the club account running the players like. It's not a great account.
I never missed a game home or away when we played at Roker and I can't ever remember a worse set of useless lazy bastards who have paraded as players in our team over the last five years I don't care what your memory tells you but mine tells me we always tried even when we were crap by now even ****ing Lawrie Mc had about 5 wins and we are on one at the minute take your rose tinted glasses off mate.
What the **** was rose tinted about that post? I couldn’t give a **** about he waste of space players we have, but I do care about my ****ing football club, the one that’s been an obsession since 1986. If me supporting the club by getting behind the waste of space players can in any way help us out of this spiral then 100% my support is what they will get.
Henry, who has also played for Wolves, says the 'toxic atmosphere' created by fans at the Stadium of Light is partly to blame. “Every time I go to Sunderland think the same thing – it’s a toxic atmosphere for the home team,” he told The Bolton News. “I wouldn’t want to be a player here with those fans. "Obviously they have got high expectations, and there are a lot of clubs who feel they should be in the Premier League, but unfortunately only 20 teams can. The league tables don’t lie. “It’s an atmosphere that doesn’t help the home team and it’s something we say as the visitors to try and use against them. You can get fans on their back.” I accept that our Fans are, by now, not a happy bunch, and nobody with half a brain cell would expect otherwise but to claim 'every time I go to Sunderland there is a toxic atmosphere seems to go against my experience. Curiosity got me to look up his record. Seven years at Wolves followed by four at QPR he can't have visited the SoL as a player that many times. And he can't be thin skinned as his own Fans at Wolves used to give him stick on occasions before he moved. I can only assume that SAFC or us Fans must have upset him at some time in the past.
Whatever is said about the home crowd you can't say the same for the away fans. All I could hear were our fans the last half hour I watched. Couldn't hear jackshit from the home fans.
I wouldn't have read that into his comments at all. They seemed very level and were a simple comment on the fact that we make it easy for opposing teams.
Astute chap, played here 3 times, never lost, scored against us and picked up on something many of our own fans still haven't. Ian Holloway said this. “We needed the second goal in the game, if we had done the atmosphere would have helped us, not them,” Everybody knows it except defensive fans in denial it seems.
