If thats true then Evra needs anger management. I am not sure why everyone is just assuming that racism was involved, just because Evra is black.
I wasn’t assuming. I said he had form for reacting to it and wondered whether that was the reason. I also said if it was just standard terrace abuse then he should have just jogged on. Bear in mind that I watched a keeper get called a ****ing pumpkin **** for 45 minutes last weekend and he never reacted.
Apparently, the taunts were put across more explicitly than that, but they do seem to amount to nothing more than that.
You’ll never hear the truth of what was actually said because each side has their own version. Re the Cantona incident, a guy who used to go in my village club was there and seated by the incident. The gobby Palace fan was apparently a well known gobshite amongst the regulars. As Cantona was walking off, matey comes down screaming ‘Go on, **** off back to France, you French ****’ along with the usual hand gestures. He then aimed a gobfull at Cantona, who lost his rag and lamped him.
The right to legal representation is no laughing matter Pix. Even excitable, violent professional footballers deserve a fair hearing before they have the book thrown at them.
Kustard cracks me up. The car park no show was funny. His inside out dog is one ugly looking beast. But he can wind some up so easy.
I avoid the politics thread as it turns people ****ing mental. I'll wait till I see him act racist before making any judgements tbh. Never had an issue with the fella and used to have some good banter tbf.
Evra doesn’t need one. HIAG has volunteered to represent him. Evra will come out of there having been awarded damages for scuffing his boot on that blokes face.
