Oh Beef. Thoughts with you and the family. Just had some news in my family along those lines... waiting on test results now.
So sorry to see this. Hope the treatment goes well. Stay strong and above all remain positive and hopeful. Best wishes to you and your family.
Hope everything is ok. My dad got diagnosed Tuesday as he has had leg trouble for two weeks. So hopefully caught it early. Starts Chemo weekend if his eye infection clears up. 3 - 5 weeks of chemo then 4 weeks off, with 3 lots of chemo. Hope after that all is fine, but they have a good success rate with AML specially at the general
Really sorry Beefy. Having had some awful news myself regarding family I understand what you're going through.
Chin up Beef. An older brother was diagnosed with Leukaemia something like 15 years ago, and they gave him a fairly short time. He's still around, and recently got passed as pretty damn healthy, because of the super advances that has been made in that field of treatment. He was 77 recently. If he bothered to exercise he'd have an excellent fit life.
Oh no, Beef Thoughts with you and your family. Do remember to give yourself a break, though - no-one can be strong 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Thanks all Consultant just said to my dad that one course of chemo should be enough!!! As they caught it early. So even if he needs two courses it is great news. It isn't hereditary and isn't a genetic. It is just a random reaction in the body So damn positive news
