David Unsworth said he has two games to prove his worth and be confirmed as permanent Everton manager

Don’t all the best managers have quality players in their teams?

I understand you resent Pep because he’s the antithesis of what Chelsea stand for. But Pep football is a joy to watch.

I resent pep because the purists make him out to be the best manager in the world and hes the greatest. He has never had to build a team properly and he spends more than most. I didnt particularly find his barca team as entertaining as others (keep ball most of the time) although i will acknowledge their technical skill was one of the greatest seen.

I have to say i admire his city team though they do play majestically with plenty of direct attacking. Still though give that team so pellegrini and he would smash it too. In fact he did smash it without spending as much as peppy boy

The times that it is mate.

Who sat there as sterling and de Bruyne were signed for 100mil+ and we all groaned.... yup... the old fella.

Guardiola just agrees with his mate bergerestein or however you at it and a player turns up.

At Barca he took busquets with him from underage teams. I'm a bit non plussed about his time at city and bayern as i dont see much effort at young talent coming through.

Everton were doing OK and playing the Utd way of parking the bus. Then Unsworth got cocky and took of a defensive midfielder for Calvert - Lewin, they are now 2 - 0 down. Give the man the job full time please

I can't believe Everton sacked Koeman without a plan. This is worse than before

You have to look at Walsh and the two main men and ask.... where is the planning here.

If there was a short list and the wolves lad was on it.. well.. it's not a short list without sounding out agents

    Perplexed at the situation!

I've stopped finding it funny now to be honest, they are in an absolute hole

Nah, the season is over aside from a possible FA Cup run but early next year they get Bolasie and Coleman back plus a striker in the window

Thoroughly gutted at this, As discussed the other day not sure if this would be the same if roles reversed but i have to hope it would be. Our rivalry is supposed to be different and at first it seemed a bit of a giggle, all the money spent (though i think they were starting from way back, so comparitively they have not spent a lot)
For some bad results but the confidence is shot.
I thought ther was no way they could get relegated, tbf i still thimk they will be safe but the position they have put themselves in is dire.
    No way
Not ever should everton be bottom of that europa group.
I think it is easy for the, to turn it around but if they next appointment does not go well they may well find themselves in the bottom three come may - which is unthinkable!
I know we joke about them going quiet but would love to see what some of their fans are feeling, it is terrible.
I have regulary, as others have been someone who wants both to do well, ****s me off seeing the two manc clubs at the top
That should have been us and the blues!
Both mersey side teams doing well will bring talent to the ares, they now 50miles down the road, apart from our games will be willing them on till they out of this.
Defo think they need to concentrate on survival first this year so big sam, dyche are good plans imho

2 more very good players for sure, but you look at the names avilable now and how they're performing and it's just so poor, doesn't add up!

Said after the Leicester game, they can't stick with Unsworth - IMO he simply will not turn things around or steady any ship

Similar view to me mate. He's impressed me much more at Man City than anywhere else he's been because he's had to build it
