the mighty Burnley! why are we even bothering to turn up! 6-1 Saint ---------------------------------------------- We're bothering because even if the points are in the bag, we require a decent performances that shows we have some sort of plan. That's my guess.
Oooh no, if his arse is going to be kicked it has to be up the M3, A34, M40. Anyway I'm just off out. Looking forward to resuming this road map chat when I get back..
Go north on the M42 straight on to the M6, quicker than going west to the M5. You don’t have the nightmare of the M5/M6 intersection then.
BTW who is going form here? I haven't been to a home game this season and had a drink (illness and driving), and considering getting the train if my snail mate isn't too annoyed (Basically, like it or lump it).
If I do drive, you are more than welcome to a lift from the station in the absence of @fatletiss on my way in
I think Saints will win this as there has been too much media attention about Dyche taking the Everton job. We are well-overdue to thump someone and must surely score more than 2 goals at some point at St Mary's. It is strange listening to some of the supporters complaining about Pellegrino but It think we are improving and at least the players seem to know why things aren't working. Although we are nowhere as near as compelling to watch as we were under Koeman, I still think we have improved after the problems with Puel.
At least that jonah @Saint Helen isn't with you BTW where is she? Haven't seen her on here for a while?
Burnley's game on Monday was dreadful and I am going to go 1-0 Southampton, it will be a tight, tight game with just one goal in it. Although it will probably end up having the most goals of the weekend! Paul Merson Predicts 1-0.
My Mum is a Burnley girl, and is a crazy footie fan. She was actually gloating earlier in the week, and was confident that "Burnley will nick the points to pull further ahead, seeing how Saints haven't bothered turning up this season" (she actually said that to me, and I coul really argue ) I just smiled, winked and said "we'll see" I really hope we can win now though if only so that I can stop my 79 year old mum sending gloating emoji laden texts to me all weekend and beyond.
