Oh f**k off !!! The Madrid starting XI had NINE players who started the 2017 CL final. Yet still got spanked by a Spurs side that was not fielding Wanyama, the DOF etc etc.
I never tire of seeing that one. My favourite is the Martin Jol one where he tells Wenger to "get out of my face".
Pilot checklist for flying Spurs CL airways ... 1. Home leg : tick. 2. Opposition is defending champion : tick. 3. Win 3-1 : tick. 4. Top of the CL group : tick.
And finally, BIG shout to Dele Alli. Everything he did yesterday was the complete opposite to what some of us expected/feared would happen. What a way to prove us wrong.

Just watched a re run of the game and dele still missed the hat trick chance .I thought he was superb last night and deserved to get a hat trick. ..maybe he is saving that for the Woolwich nomads
Did that actually happen! I'm still buzzin'. This will make for an interesting transfer window as more players become open to the idea of joining the team. Should also raise the confidence levels up no end for the rest of the season. With Wanyama, Lamela and Rose still to come back in, and Dembele looking sharp again, I see us making a solid challenge for the title. Next step, nulling Man City! - (I hope.) (Sorry RCL. I couldn't contain the unspurslike optimism.)
