Oriel Romeu interview in the Daily Echo. Says that Pellegrino says the team must mark forwards of the other team when Saints attack. Pretty much confirms what we know, Pellegrino is being overly cautious with the team. Not the best news to be hearing from players...
Not sure if this is the original quote, but it fits with the thesis: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/home/mos...s-like-TV-pictures-better-CLIVE-ANDERSON.html
Lemina out until after the international break.....looks like his prediction of 4 weeks out was correct.
This is going to be another difficult game. Burnley will play on the break and use set pieces to get at us. We will keep hold of the ball and offer little in chances.
Just been reading about Burnley’s aerial threat. If they have any sense they will be trying to isolate Cedric at the back post. Maybe this would be a good game for trying 3 CBs, to release the full backs and Romeu to push forward, and to reduce the threat of Cedric being out jumped by someone a lot taller.
I'm not feeling positive about the football so I choose not to say much at all. I see my own thoughts confirmed in other posts all the time, nothing to add. However asking for more positivity and complaining that it's depressing is like yelling at clouds about rain. It's the natural result of something, in this case our really poor attacking football, not talking about it doesn't change it. All you can do is remove yourself from the noise and be cool with it it yourself.
You've got to get to the M6 though.... you can't suddenly be on the M6 (which is of course joining the M1)
Austin, Tadic and Long have all won us games against the big teams so should all play against the (apparently) mighty Burnley
