I'd choose Wiko as Manager Cantona - Was the best player of his era Lukic - Safe pair of hands - will would give our defence confidence Speed - just have to.
Lukic, Dorigo, Strachan, Cantona to compliment the players we already have, not necessarily the best 4
You said based on performances in 91/92. Your scum loving memory is p,ayong tricks on you.. He was only a bit part player for us compared to the rest.
From memory we only signed him in the January. He gave the team that boost they needed to jump the final furlong and beat the scum. Fcuk the bastward after he left us but whilst he was with us he was one of the 3 biggest influences on our team
As I remember he scored important goals for us when the side was starting to get tired. Don't get me wrong I'd love to slap the bastward, but imo I doubt we would have won the title without him...
He wasnt the influence you think he was for us. Scored a couple of eye catching goals but the main benefit of us having him was he took all the pressure off the team. The mad cnut was a distraction for the press and our title bid went oaregly unoticed until there were only a few games left as a result.
Gordon Strachan, Gary McAllister - Two great midfield players creative and good leaders. Gary Speed as it would solve one side of our play, he also chipped in with some great goals. Final position was close between Batty and Cantona, part of me would have said get that midfield four back again but we need goals and despite what he later became as a person his skill and goals couldn't be questioned so Eric edges it.. I'm assuming we are saying who we would have from their age and ability in 91/92 for as long as we could keep them and not for a one off season. Cantona got better and better (unfortunately).
