Those hedy days of pochs 2nd season and Koeman seem a long time ago, eh? Back then we really were best of the rest, beating teams like Burnley at a canter. (Nb before somebody points out that in 2015 we lost to Swansea etc I know we didn’t win all our games and struggled at times).
This post says it all. When our most measured and balanced poster feels like that you know we have issues.
The Final Proof of the non-Existence of God was proved by a Babel Fish. Now, it is such a bizarrely improbable coincidence that anything so mind-bogglingly useful could have evolved purely by chance that some have chosen to see it as the final proof of the NON-existence of God. The argument goes something like this: "I refuse to prove that I exist," says God, "for proof denies faith, and without faith I am nothing." "But," says Man, "the Babel fish is a dead giveaway, isn't it? It could not have evolved by chance. It proves that You exist, and so therefore, by Your own arguments, You don't. QED" "Oh dear," says God, "I hadn't thought of that," Therefore Saints will win 6-1!!!
What a difference a year makes. All bar a couple of weeks we played Burnley at home a year ago. I fondly remember that match. We won 3-1, 2 Austin goals and 1 from Redmond. We had 34 shots and conceded our first goal in over 600 minutes. McQueen came on as a sub and had an outstanding debut. Would be tempted to play him again.
Forster Cedric yoshi hoedt Bertrand Lemina Redmond boufal tadic Gabbiadini Austin Sod it let’s go all out, only one CDM, 3 attacking players in midfield, 2 strikers. Let’s batter them!
The Day of the Triffids was best on the radio as well....imagination can be so much better. The music and the sound of the plants moving....and the whiplash noise when you didn't know what had happened. Scary.
