Well, given Burnley’s away form, and our lack of goals, I would imagine that they really fancy getting 3 points here. Can I hope they arrive in an overconfident mood and try to bring the game to us, instead of doing a Pulis?
You can call me negative all you want, but I'm not the only poster on the thread who thinks this will be a difficult match for us. Burnley are a good team, they are above us on the table and deservedly so. It's very hard to score against them and it will be more so for us with our misfiring attack. As saintmagic said, this will probably be 0-0 or 1-0 victory going either way, I hope we will win but I maintain that a point here will be a good result for us.
I am a very nervy person, but I have never lacked confidence like I do at the moment....not even in the Dell days. I don't expect us to lose all the time, but am now very relieved with a draw....any win is unexpected. I think Marvin the Paranoid Robot is very lucky that he isn't a Saints supporter.

Interesting discussion on TalkSport this morning - although about Chelsea & their poor run of form, Tony Cascarino spoke about their lack of an "in your face streak" e.g Costa but more in general about how nice they are & picked out Morata last evening picking opposing players up after they'd been fouled. Couldn't agree more & SFC have got to be the nicest team out there. He said he learnt over the years you needed a bit of bite & respect on the pitch & you certainly didn't get that from being nice. Lost count of the times we foul or even upend someone accidentally & we're there helping them up, making sure they're ok. Hate it. ****ING hate it. It's football. A contact sport ffs.
