Oh come on, surely you don't believe Slutsky had any say in which players were sold or signed. You could tell from his bewilderment in every interview before the season started that he didn't have a clue, Ehab is 100% to blame.

I thought it was a red to be fair, that double jeopardy rule is if it's a genuine attempt to play the ball and you take the man , deliberate fouls are still professional fouls - that is my understanding anyway

Hector. My first thought when he signed was that I didn't like how he called himself 'Big Hec'. People who are actually big don't call themselves it. Hector is tough every so often, but far more often he's a 6'4" soft ****. A 2017 Anthony Gardner* if you will. The first goal today the bloke was obviously about to shoot and he just waved a leg in. The penalty incident I actually saw him **** it up in my head before he did, it was that inevitable. He's a journeyman who's done nothing in the game but another one who appears to think very highly of himself.

*OK that was too far, he's obviously not as bad as that waster but you get my drift.

From what I saw of the players I think they are up for it but lacking in skill and badly organised.

Dawson is losing his own game because he is having to muster incompetence. I thought we were playing a back four, but the full backs were AWOL for much of the game and our midfield was ineffective.

Personally I don't think Skutsy has a Scooby what to do with what he has.

He simply cannot get into the mindset of thus league and drill it into his players - we need an experienced gutter fighter and his number two to get about these lads and sort them out.
Start by showing them how to get a foot in, FFS, they back off more than ****ing Bambi...

Is that rumour going to make the light of day because I'll be damned if I can find out what everyone was on about?

It's the equivalent of saying "we aren't doing well so I'm off." They would have stayed if we had been 2-0 up. IMO you can't pick and choose when to be a supporter and when not. If they've paid to get in and support their team then that's what they should be doing, not sodding off when the going gets tough.

Sky said Hector was shown a 2nd yellow. My lad on his return home, said he got a yellow for the foul, then when they were lining up to take the pen the lino called the ref over saying Hector had elbowed someone and then he got a straight red.
If that's what happened then he's a daft **** and won't be missed.

First and foremost it has to be someone who will work for the clowns in charge. Before we ended up with Phelan they interviewed a few bigger names but couldn't do a deal, two more left field appointments since then doesn't make us an attractive proposition.

    Things we thought we thunk

    1. The defence is a shambles, let's hope Mazuch is better than Hector cos with that red he has a chance to prove himself

    2. Back to back defeats when we were expecting 4-6 points and a move towards to top 6 mean we are going nowhere fast

    3. Slutsky seems personable but incapable of doing anything with this team, the win at Oakwell was supposed to be the turning point

    4. The owners are to blame for the malaise around the club, supporters who leave after 80 minutes are also guilty of worsening that feeling

    5. We have one shining light in Bowen - for the moment..

    6. The Allams won't sack Slutsky as it will cost them compensation, they'll just hope we don't get relegated

I don't even know for certain if it's the same thing I've heard. But from what I saw on twitter it looked like people who would have spoken to the same person I heard it from.

Not sure why it needs to be secret. If it's what I'm thinking of it'll come to light soon though.

The performance on the pitch doesn't determine when you leave. If you've bought a ticket to go, then go for the full game, there's no reason to leave other than the fact that people don't like to see us play badly. If people are worried that we are going to be poor, then they shouldn't take the risk. It's always a risk (especially with us) but most people consider it a risk worth taking and stay even when it's bad.

Even if it's quiet all game, at least there are black and amber shirts in the crowd. Seeing them leave before the game is over must be so disheartening when you already know your team is underperforming.

Ah right. I'll wait out then. Just thought it was going to come to light this evening via programme notes or something.
