Meh - there have been madder sackings. Sunderland need rebuilding for the long term, but consecutive relegations would be disastrous for them.
As funny as that sounds, it would not surprise me if they went for him. Won’t be this week but they will need a hardened championship manager to get them out of this mess. Or they might look at another manager who has advoided relegation twice and doing quite well this season.
Neil said he would like one last chance at achieving something as his swan song! he is getting that and whilst BAADIFFare flying high with half a chance of getting to at least Wembglee he wont go
Grayson is a very decent Manager who was given a paltry £1.5m to spend by the Chairman of Sunderland. This coming from a team who will have been given tens of millions in payments from Sky even after relegation. He wont be out of work for long.
Neil Warnock top manager,SIMON Grayson good manager. Lee Johnson interesting manager, will the apprentice or the master come out on top Saturday.
Warnock will use all his spoiler skills against us. Let’s hope Cardiff score a ‘ghost’ goal then we win it with the last kick of time added on in 96th minute. That would make his (NWs) day......
well SIMPLY PUT its a chance, all the teams have a chance at the start, as time progresses the chance gets less .... take Bolton on day one they had as much chance as 23 other teams, a third way thro almost and they have to win 6 games and derby to lose 6 just to get into top 6! in that same period they need Leeds Norwich and Middsbro to do the same so it is pretty fair to say their chances are far less than a chance! Cardiff on the other as well as city currently have a chance, a chance to be one of 2, or one of 4 to get to wembglee, so a ball park throwaway comment is reasonably apt at a half chance or 50/50
