Missed all of saints game away watching the airshow and unable to check any reaction or coverage until now. After brousing the board there seems to be quite a bit going on which i dont understand the whole story of. -Millwall fans beating up an old and disabled man!?!?!?! Surely this is not true? -The SFC steward should be sacked, was unacceptable. -And lastly, how did we play/Any standout performances?
Airshow or watch Saints? Get your priorities right. As for the rest, all been said in other threads already. No need for yet another one.
You think i had a choice.....? And everything was sketchy in other threads so just trying to grasp what happened ^^
Millwall fans acted like a complete disgrace. No matter what their fans are saying ALL of the trouble i saw was started by them being idiots. We played well for the opening of each half but we struggled to control the match and looked tired against a physical Milwall side. It was backs to the wall for much of the second half, but we hung in there. Kelvin had a blinder, Corky was great again and Seaborne was solid. With that being said, I thought every time we attacked we looked dangerous. The passing and movement was still great going forward, and the team spirit was amazing again, with everyone throwing themselves into every tackle and block.
I'm in New York right now, and the only UK news I've seen is that a pilot crashed and died during an airshow in the south. Same one?
theyd finished the show, was flying back and somehow he crashed, dying when he ejected from the craft.
My ol' man ex RAF, & he was off seeing them. He was really upset telling me about it later in the day. He was based in Syria many years ago, & he said they used to practice there, but there was a incident many years ago which seems pretty similar. Sad day, good bunch of chaps.
The official statement said the pilot was "thrown clear" of the aeroplane rather than ejecting - eye witness accounts state he was pulled from the river. RIP Red 4
