Odd, why exactly. It was actually an attempt at humour. I would move back to the south if I wasn't tied to the midlands
This may well cause MP more problems than his teams lack of goals. Fairly or not, he will be judged against him.
Don’t think we can read too much into today’s result (even as hilarious as it is). Puel really hasn’t had time to get his point across and Leicester just played like Leicester. Everton were **** as they have been all season and hopefully continue to be
Maybe. Sean Dyche looks like he may be the sort of person to have principles though. Or is that a bit naive?
Lots of fans are bonkers. I went on s-web last night, oh my goodness, they be batshit crazy over there. But, there will be comparisons, whether we like it or not.
Brilliant! I've just got to get this phrase into a conversation tonight in the pub. I'll start practicing me 'Ampshire. Meanwhile, back on topic, You're right, lots of our fans are bonkers. The worrying thing is that someone decided to pay them some heed in sacking Claude. I say that not because his team won at the week-end (pleased though I was for him) but because I think he was dealt with very poorly by the club.
I was hoping to listen to the commentary on Radio 5 yesterday but the coverage of the game was limited to bulletins. This post pretty much sums up my thoughts. I am surprised at Everton's demise this season but the result was probably to be expected in the circumstances even if Leicester were supposed to be quite attacking. I would still bet that Saints finish above Leicester this season and wouldn't be surprised if whoever came in to manage at Goodison, their fortunes will pick up so that they will not finish in the bottom half of the table. The relegation places this season look like being taken by Palace, Bournemouth and Swansea and any dogfight involving either Leicester or Everton would ultimately come as a surprise.
I think Leicester will finish above Saints, nothing to do with Puel, just think they have a better side, there shouldn't be much in it though. Everton should turn themselves around but their start has been awful and they are playing terribly, will take someone to come in and change things there. I predicted 14th for Saints at the start of the season and I'm sticking to that atm
I think the team that we finish up fielding in May will look very different from the current squad and expect us to finish much higher than 14th. I will be disappointed if we finish below 10th and think this should be easily achievable.
Depends how we do between now and then I suppose. Doubt Gao would want to risk his investment so quickly.
