Delicious....if you like the taste of ancient dust collected from a Victorian feather bed that has been stored in a disused stable previously occupied by a flatulent hippopotamus.
Having googled "taste of tarragon" the on-line definition differs a bit from Frans 1. Tarragon--the taste Tarragons taste is very unique. It has a hint of bitterness and sweetness. The taste will give you a hint of licorice and vanilla. This herb has a war between a cool and warm taste. It is minty and tastes a bit of hay but also peppery and a subtle hint of turpentine. It also has a good eucalyptus flavor that makes it a bit different from anise and fennel.
I grow it from seed - in the greenhouse through the summer, on the kitchen window sill through the winter. Nearly always have fresh coriander in our house. I've even had success with it planted outside during good summers. Cumin and lemon grass from the greenhouse this year too.
Me too. Though some on here would probably dislike it for no reason and want to replace it at the first opportunity
Just asked my 11 year old god daughter what she wants for Christmas. Anything Saints was the reply. What a sensible girl.
Blue Planet 2 as wonderful as I thought it would be. My cat loved it too (he only ever watches Attenborough. Bizarre).
Always wondered about the sequence of events that made aquatic mammals go back into the sea. Never seen anyone discuss that in a programme. Dolphins and their relatives are so smart but giving up manipulative limbs meant that they limited their future possibilities....no smart phones for them
