Good Morning all (if you can call it that:sad:) i'm afraid i have to agree with mighty about our set pieces, seems as though Alioski is just as pi** poor at taking them as Hernandez can't remember how he took a corner, did we even have one? just shows how poor they must have been as i can't even remember them.Just don't know whats gone wrong with this team, thaught we turned a corner after the Bristol game, but must have been a tighter bend than i thaught as the wheels have come off again<steam>

Morning SW, morning everyone else. It seems to me that our team seems to have glue on their boots; their movement off the ball is terrible, especially Lasogga who looks like he doesn't care. Last night he did not challenge for a header in the box as he didn't want to get clobbered.

Agree about lasogga, however i seem to remember we were all saying this about wood at onetime, and look how he turned out in the end.Maybe lasogga will turn out like this (maybe he will, maybe he won't?) who knows, but someone saw something in him we have not seen yet.

Correct. Rad / Orta saw him as a cheap replacement for Wood that allowed him to pocket the diference. He is a slow lump not suited to the championship, sorry I said it from day one.

Easy tiger! I've been fighting Phillips corner all season on here. Still our top scorer in the Championship on 5. Only Wood (27), Bartley, Hernandez, & Doukara (all 6) scored more last season!

That's actually 100% incorrect, Ell. Don't you remember when he got laid out in the box? Eventually got up & rubbed his head after the ref came over to see him. He also won more headers than usual, but tbh, that's not saying a lot. Still think he should be getting a stone run off him on the training ground before being considered for selection again.

If they all showed the commitment and ability of Phillips we wouldn't too far away from being a decent side

Don't know why he gets so much stick, he'll be a big loss against Derby that's for sure

I'm amazed at how poor Lasogga, Alioski and Hernandez can be yet the stick is pointed at Phillips, I'm watching a different game I'm sure...

If he's playing like a number ten he's probably under instructions to do so, and he's actually tracking back and doing defensive duties as well as scoring goals

Not much more the lad can do really

If he'd been playing for Sheffield United last night there'd be plenty saying we need a player like him

think we should accept we were beaten by a better team they were much better in all departments. ie first touch, second touch, pace, passing, game managment, and most importantly passion. they are where they are because they are a good TEAM and come the end of the season they will still be there or thereabouts we will not.

He was playing number 10 first half? Second half he was swapped with Saiz so was wide left attacking and reason for that was... To provide cover for Anita who was getting overrun

Well that was somewhat lucky with only Bristol City moving above us following today's games. Just shows the inconsistency throughout the division when you consider we stuffed Bristol 3-0 only a week ago at theirs. There is still hope.

We have played 36 league games in 2017 and got 56 points. Taken over 46 games that would be 72 points. I doubt its the worst in English football

Thanks. Thats better than I would have thought.
But that would indicate this season isnt much if any better than last in terms of points per game. Which given the good start is pretty **** and its the current regime that are responsible.

Blades were a better team and deserved their win.....Something has gone wrong in recent weeks and that must be put right asap. Leeds are still up there with the best but the confidents has been hit hard in recent games and the manager and coaches must work on that. I still fancy Leeds to get promotion preferably automatic because the playoff's is a lottery and produces a worst team going up and the better team disappointed sometimes.....Hopefully leeds form will return soon..
