Yes Nick - it sure would!....... I note in Cotterill and Neil, you managed to pick out the two teams that beat us. You could easily have mentioned Santo, Wilder, Christiansan, Bruce, Holloway, Grayson, Monk and Clough - all of whom we (he?) beat. I'm talking specifically about our derby next week - nothing else. Let's see what happens and personally I can't wait.
...that was kinda the point I was making... Looking forward to it - Fulham for us and Ipswich for you first though.
Sparky, I know you love Cardiff and want the best. But let’s just remember where we are at this point of the season. You are 4 points above us, that’s two wins to our draws. We are both on 2 losses, 3 really for you as you failed miserably in the cup to Burton, was it at home as well? You got off to a great start undefeated (apart from cup game) You might say the cup game is immaterial but in theory you should be the freasher of the teams given playing time. Now we’ve hauled you to being 4 points, who knows by Saturday afternoon it could well be 2 points in our favour. I don’t really think you can be all high and mighty, it’s quite common for an ex Warnock team to internally combust in the end. So regardless of next Saturday I would say the future is very bright for us .
Yes Rod, I do remember where we both are this season - I also remember where we both were this time last season. I'm sure you didn't mean it personally but I'm certainly not being "high and mighty" either. I'm just talking about football mate. If you go on from here and stay around top 6 for the rest of the season, top 2 then can never be too far away. That applies to all teams and those currently up there will know that all too well. The problem is that a half a dozen teams just a few points behind in the chasing pack will also know that. The season isn't over for anyone yet and I expect the likes of Derby, Norwich, Boro, Fulham and even Sheff W to have a big impact on those in possession of the coveted spots. The point I was making was that as good as any team is, the difference can be in the manager - that's all.
Thats funny you should say that because Talsport are suggesting Warnock may be very interested in the Rangers job, apparently he's fed up of talking to someone who wears their trouser waistband jut below their nipples when he's only 4' 6" high.
Yes Banksy, I understand the highwaistband could be a problem and he'd certainly avoid Bristol City - he'd get fed up of talking to someone in a smock.
I was over in Cardiff on Saturday.. its like the land that time forgot. they are still wearing donkey jackets for god sake.
Ah, that explains it, that smell of stale straw was you then. Don't worry about the donkey jackets banksy - your team should be wearing them.
We'll see on Saturday won't we.. I suppose you will disappear again for a few years on the back of a loss!
Very poor response banksy - you used to be better than that! As for "disappearing for a few years on the back of a loss", you must have an excellent memory. That was 5 years ago in August 2012. Since then we've beaten you 4 times and drawn the once...... I'll be here or hereabouts for a chat whatever the result. Now let's stop all this nastiness and get back to the football - or don't you think we can play it?
I’m amazed the City v Cardiff game isn’t being televised considering the local rivalry and our close positions in the league. I am going to venture down the M4 for this one!
Look guys, I've just had a look at the way the fixtures pan out tonight and notice you can't drop out of the top 6 whatever happens. You'll have to wait until Saturday.
Being as we're 4 points above you, I'd have though that was pretty obvious. Don't let the complicated maths confuse you......
But there is 6 points up for grabs in the next week, if you get 0, will you still be top 6? Sorry if the 2 games in a week confused you?
