The bad news is Chazz if Boro rip us apart there'll be little left for the Blades to have to do next Saturday.
Allams are **** , fans who booed are **** , Slutsky isn't very good but gets away with it because he goes to Hull Fair and says the right things
Time the Allams were left out of what happens on the pitch. Slutsy makes strange decisions and is the one accountable. Our defence is abysmal, we don't have any full backs. Meyler grafts, but he's a clumsy player and, therefore, a liability. We need a new manager.
Someone will know.... why do we always play toward the North Stand first half. I appreciate its not always but you get my gist. If the vocal support is in the North Stand, surely you kick toward it in the second half. Or am I talking bollocks..
Tradition , as south was the home end at Boothferry and until very recently the only home end at The KC
Agreed. Why was growshitski taken off? Yes he's wasteful but he was dangerous and looked likely. Why two subs at half time. No need to press the panic button. Especially when Irvine is no wide left player.
I can only assume the impact a double sub had at Barnsley made him think it would work again , if only it was that simple
Gary Weaver is a good commentator. Sky have highlighted the issue plenty of times when we’ve been live on their channels.
15k there? More like 12k. They’re just adding 3k on to make it seem not that bad. Easy and West Stands are absolutely obliterated.
correct, Meyler should never have started, Meyler should have been pulled at half time - shocking performances from Meyler, Henriksen and Aina - Grosiki is a **** as well - arguing with Campbell after he failed to reach his **** pass early on - one of the worst attitudes I've seen for city
I woke this morning with eager anticipation expecting to see a City win, only to be faced with the negative result. My mood dropped, and then I read all the comments on the game, and my mood dropped further. I think if I had see the team that started before retiring to my bed, then I may well have woken less optimistic than I did. WTF was Henriksen starting again for, as other have said I am seriously questioning wether Leonid knows what he is doing, he appears to be out of his depth. Most of us on here have seen over the last few games where the problems lie, but he doesn't seem to be addressing them. The worrying factor is that the players will also know who is not pulling their weight, and once they start to question the managers team selection it is a downward spiral. I fear for Tuesday, Boro do seem finally to be getting their act together, we could find ourselves at the end of another beating. P.S. Expect an Ehab proclamation that the whole defeat was down to the 10% against him, and that was the whole reason we lost the match.
There were a few positives yesterday Campbell looked pretty fit and definitely up for it Bowen’s all round game and that goal was sublime Clark is looking consistently better than he did at start of season New songs for players are starting to take hold. I liked the Starman song for Bowen If we build on those positives then Boro shouldn’t beat us by more than 2
I'm beginning to wonder whether Aina and Hector are must play unless they are injured as part of the loan deal - I'm sure Tomori and/or Mazuch could do a job for us but don't seem to be given a chance
So, the morning after the night before, hungover, supporting City should carry a health warning, it drives you to drink! My twopenneth for what it's worth; thought we had a good start and tempo, we were all over them, unlucky not to have scored a couple of goals, but for their lucky goal scrambles. The protest stoppage did disrupt our rhythm, It would be interesting to hear a player/ captain perspective. They had one attack & score, good strike mind, but defensively poor, gave too much time and space to get strike away. No closing down. They were then on the up and looked like they had extra men on the pitch the way they were passing the ball around with ease. Henricksen should never have been near the starting 11, did jack ****, as a no. 10, no movement or challenges. Meyler, did what he does, gets stuck in, passing woeful, fortunately for him there were worse players on pitch. Grosicki unlucky to be hooked at half time, no need for double sub. Bowen, never gave up & great strike, gave us some hope! Good Sir Les banner.
Hector Clark Surprisingly Aina Larsson wasn't so bad Campbell Bowen To be honest I thought we played quite well and had more than enough chances to win the game. People seem to think whenever we lose the whole team is ****, their keeper kept them in it and that outrageous clearance off the line, they took all of their chances, we didn't even take half of ours. If Meyler wasn't on the pitch maybe we win that despite not finishing our chances, he was partly at fault for the first and was the culprit for the second and third.
