Thought we started well and looked up for it. The balls coming on the pitch took me by surprise. Sat in East Stand and didn't hear anyone moaning about it. It did make me feel a bit uncomfortable, not sure why because I do agree that we need the Allams out. We left after the penalty, first time ever but hubby had to be at work. Judging by the amount of people outside the ground there must have been very few left inside at the end. I will carry on supporting the team but its getting harder to be enthusiastic about going to games. Yes Myeler had a terrible game today but I kind of feel sorry for him, Campbell and one or two others who put in 100% most games. They must get frustrated that the team in general are just not up to it. Slutsky seems out of his depth. If only more money had been spent last season we might not be in this predicament now. Unfortunately I think things will get much worse before they get better. No doubt Ehab will have some sort of revenge up his sleeve after today.
I'll qualify that. We will always get done against decent teams playing this stupid formation. Meyler and Larsson have no chance with the amount of work they have to cover, forest knocked it round them and pulled them all over cos of two high up wingers a centre forward and a number ten. Yes with better finishing we could have scored a couple but we leave ourself wide wide open. We've been saying it all season. Boro will rip us apart, we might score an early goal that may change the completion of the game but if not they'll pick us apart.
Shut up you silly weird ****. They didn't kick a ball. Of course we could and should have spent more money but the players we have are better than they performed today against a team of well organized nobodies.
In what sense is he a good player? His control is average, he's fairly quick and he's got a fairly good throw-in in him. Them's the positives. His positional sense is rank, he's regularly pulled out of position by canny and experienced players, he can't tackle, his passing is ****, he never gets close to his man, his anticipation of where the ball will be in a second's time is sadly lacking. We'd be better off sticking Meyler in as a right back.
James Harper. Sonko. Henricksen - shouldn't be anywhere near the starting line up, did jack ****, as a number 10 we expect him to create some movement, all he did was occasional crab movement, sideways.
We've only played one. Wolves. Poor division, in which we are treading water, because the team/squad has been ripped apart by the Allams, without them kicking a ball.
Where I belong, is on the terraces at the Circle. Like all the others that have previously filled the ground and now choose not to, because of the Allams dismantling of the club.
I agree with Arnold The situation we find ourselves in is down to the ALLAMS. I think we will all be happier when they have gone.
He will probably ban the 1000 that threw tennis balls, reducing the next home game's attendance to 24,000.
