I really can't understand what goes through Sluts head with his team selections .. yet again having to change it drastically at half time .. this blind faith he has in Henriksen is ridiculous .. we aren't world beàters that's for sure due to piss poor investment but there is enough in there to warrant a half decent team for this division capable of being mid table .. the defence look a shambles .. the constant messing around with the midfield seems counter productive and leaves the single forward isolated far too much .. I am a supporter of Meyler but today he was poor .. Larsson again poor .. Dawson ponderous.. Aina battles on with an injury but positionally he is a disaster .. Bowen did well going forward and Campbell ran his heart out again .. but Forrest were much slicker quicker and accurate on the ball today .. could have salvaged a draw though despite all this .. lower half mediocrity calls us im afraid .. i have no faith in this ownership or the manager im afraid despite how likeable he is i just think his selections make no sense. I doubt we will achieve anything while we have both owner and this manager in place
As with many posts on this and other threads about other City related subjects, my opinion probably counts for absolutely **** all. You're right GE. It is a missed opportunity, but only on the basis of some of the better players / teams we have had recently. The retention of the spine of the team we lost during the summer, would have ensured we competed at the top end of a distinctly mediocre division this season. The season will pass us by in the blink of an eye, and the chance of a Premier League return will be lost for ever. The current set of chaps are not of the same quality as we've had previously, anyone can see that. They try hard, but that alone is not enough. The manager is a cracking fella, but his hands are tied. The only catalyst for proper change can come from the top. But the Allams aren't going anywhere quick Everything will be cut as finely as possible. This season and next. And we will hang on to games / divisional position all because of the spitefulness of the owners. ALLAMS OUT!!!
I think it is. Sheff Utd are nothing special but are very well managed and are top of the league. Nice guy but I'm not convinced he was the right appointment. Tonight was terrible and team selection was a big reason.
You shouldn't let sport ruin your weekend though I understand why it does. It used to piss me off when we lost but I let it wash me nowadays.
Pete? I am ****ed off at the Allams, and continue to be ****ed off with the ****s, but some of those performances today were not issues I can lay at their feet
Geo10. ****ing hell Geo10. You are a heretic. Everyfuckingthing is the Allams fault. Well EVERYTHING City related anyhoo. Global warming might not be their fault, or Brexit. But there again .... ALLAMS OUT!!!
Time to hit the gin, the misses has X factor on just as I thought my night couldn’t get any worse. Cheers boys!
Monsieur. Mr Brown would be gratified to know that his years of teaching me French weren't completely wasted.
Vigour Walt. Vigour. I may join another one of the marches if they have another, but won't set foot in the ground. And to be absolutely honest, I can't see me ever going back. In the time I've been away I've found other things to do. Playing the guitar (not very well). Coaching young kids football. I like wingers, I love them scoring quite a few goals and at least more than they concede. Cycling around the Wolds. The best part of Yorkshire, No ****ing doubt. Walking the Wolds Way. Wharram Percy. Love it. And City? My beloved City? 50 years of travelling the country and abroad, of putting up with FAR WORSE **** than we saw today. Well it's gone. Completely and utterly broken. ALLAMS OUT!!! does not necessarily mean Arnold_Lane_HCFC back in. And I bet there are many others that feel the same. Those two ****s have wrecked the club.
