It's based on getting 70 points. 1.6 points per game. (See astros graph) Over 38 thats 61 points. Win the next two and we go to 22 from 12 = 1.83 per game = 70 points. In other words.. I mark off every 4 games as a block and say we need 7.5/12 on average or in other words 8/12 for 4th. We took 7/12 then 5/12 and might at best get 9/12 if we win the two games. That's 7/12 on average. So if we had 3 more point we would be ok.. just... So my view is 3 points is recoverable If you look at the prem for years upon years MOST of the time 70 gets you 4th.
I.got a crap Bournemouth one then. Tbh it was a low def us stream but was ok. I need a proper set up.
They gave us a penalty, headed the ball into their own box for Sturridge, conceded from one corner and almost from two others, and Wijnaldum walked past 5 of them then beat the keeper at his near post to make it 3-0, so where's the articles about their defensive crisis?
They don't have one, as a newly promoted team and supposed cannon fodder that have played against a number of "top 6" teams they have conceded 13 goals in 10 games. You being a well established "top 6" team have conceded 16 goals in the same number of games. In other words, they will probably improve as the season goes on, Liverpool is their normal/expected defensive crisis
Both LFC and Huddersfield are grateful Mourinho is too scared to try more than 1 shot on target per game
We are very benevolent to the lesser teams You have the 5th worst defence in the league, of those worse than you 2 are in the bottom 3 and 1 is 1 point above it You have the 6th best attack in the league, until tomorrow at least, you are 6th. We have the best defence in the league, parking the bus so no surprise there. We have the second best attack in the league parking the bus, go work that out with your stats
You must relish the thought of watching such attacking prowess every week! Mourinho is a winner for sure....but he doesn't give a f#ck about style or your club, he cares about his legacy only. Anyone can see that the natives are restless at his negativity...especially when Pep is showing the rest of the City what real football is all about. Especially after the money spent.
So what? Snatching the odd goal in a 1-0 win after having less shots than the opposition is what counts, positive stats mean nothing if theres nothing to show at the end of the game(or season), as we've found out many times over the last few years.
