Garuda ? you sure,last I heard they had no licence to fly in Europe

 

Comes up as the cheapest option.. But i guess its a multi flight route vua Dubai or Malasia with various carriers

 

yes checked it out,had a problem with maintenence not being done properly and lost licence but they seem to have it back,or are using other airlines flights.

 

Best carrier we used to oz were Air Malasia. Fairly cheap. Good allowances and great service.

 

yes used both in the past,both were good tbf but a Guruda went down in Asia day before we flew on one from Jakarta and our parents thought we were on it,kept fairly quiet in indonisia,we didn't know about it so didn't phone home till day after.

Ironically it was the pesky European Union with it's stupid regulations that banned Garuda Indonesia https://www.theguardian.com/business/2007/jun/29/theairlineindustry.travel but two years later lifted the ban after they improved their safety http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/europe/8150352.stm.

Now they have really turned it around and are one of only 10 airlines to receive a 5 star rating http://www.airlinequality.com/ratings/5-star-airline-ratings/ Their first class is considered one of the best in the world. Bloody EU helping to improve things again.
