Same team as i suggested other than Jones and Gibson. Im happy Catts has been dropped and hopefully itll be a wake up call for him. I thought hed be a stand out player at this level but he flattered to decieve this season. I fully expect McNair to come on at some point.
Does that mean a 4-3-3, with a midfield 3 of McFries, Williams and the not-so-funky Gibbon? I fear Gibson will be absolute gash, but at least McNair is on the bench
He cant do any worse mate. He was once a half decent player when he was younger. Hes more of a goal threat than Catts aswell.
Just heard the team and although Gibson inclusion is a surprise seems quite strong but imo until we get some physically larger and stronger players in our team we will continue to struggle in this league. I hope I'm wrong but don't see a good result for us (ie a win) Nevertheless it's a windy day so we may fluke a win in the levelling conditions
McNair and Ndong will be a big strong combination in time. Im still optimistic dare i say. No other squad in this league is greatly sttonger than our apart from Boro and look at how their doing.
Another ****ing free header from their first corner ffs Steele is ****ing ****e. Boxed in again.. Why can't we mark the posts at corners?
It doesn't help that Steele has the strength and courage of a newborn kitten. O'Shea and Kone are also masters of losing their man at key moments.
Oh ffs. Thought you did well at Brentford (good team and tough place to go) but have this game and next down as 4-6 points. Indeed, if Grayson fails to muster 4 points from them I'm not sure how he will retain his position. November looks like a tougher month before a high-pressure December. Got 135 minutes of football to show he deserves the job in my eyes. I'm patient and don't see anyone around who is necessarily better but these are games which by hook or by crook you need to win.
