yeah it was, some would say it was justified by the obvious 'for the show' decisions that were being made. the probelm is when they apply the rules properly all the fan-boys and Dutch fathers melt the internet the easiest way to defend against that is to simply ignore the first corner, worked well last year.
Ocon has been moaning about the dangerous speed bumps at the first corner. I agree with him, now the drivers are going to have to take extreme measures like staying on the track..... What has the world come to.
Regardless of whether a decision is right or wrong, slagging off the officials in that public way is never justified. That applies to both of them. Shame the FIA have no balls to do something about it. Vettel got away with it, so there was little they could do with Max either. At least the race stewards make a decision and take action (sometimes!), something more than the FIA do as an organisation.........
Before last year I would not have guessed that you could get away with telling the race director to go f*** himself live on air. Ironically by not punishing Vettel this may have saved Max last weekend. Funny how things always come round in a nice big circle.
but will wait til Q3? I think, by sheer fluke, we have a 5 min window from end of C4 Q highlights to poll closure.
I'm expecting a Mercedes or Ferrari on pole and a Red Bull victory. Although, call me crazy but I might take a punt on Bottas.
Still slightly tempted. Just have a feeling Vettel will mess it up and Hamilton will win this... The red bulls look very quick too.
