I think the price will depend on the debt, and we don't know the debt. There's been reports before this window it was 110m but we don't even know if it's accurate. Hopefully RAWA can get us some solid information.
We had 60,000 + in the 1950's and nowt was done in them days to turn this club around man. the north east support is the biggest in the world tack Ronaldo out of Madrid and how many would they get ? about 40,000 bring him here and he would be a god and fill a 100,000 seater stadium. Every year that Short stays is going to cost him about £20m to cover the loss. The only way that Short will get a significant fee is if we got promotion, but that won't happen whilst he is at the club and refusing to fund transfers. He'd be better off pretty much giving it away to a willing investor and having an agreement that x amount is paid to him in installments over a period of time. Iirc he wanted something similar in the summer, but his asking price was about £120m.
