Well Puel can shake Vardy's hand on day one. Basically, Vardy's actions have ultimately got Puel this job.
Stamping on Virgil, and putting him out for the season. Possibly cost us the cup final. Possibly cost us a stronger end to the season. Possibly cost Puel his job with us. And as a consequence of the latter, makes him freely available to join yourselves. Said slightly in jest on my part of course. But only slightly.
On a serious note I thought some of the fans treated Puel horrifically. I got a bit annoyed by his play at times but I really thought he deserved another season. I honestly wish him really well, but I don't think he will do great at Leicester.
Didn't see this coming at all. Hope he does ok as long as Leicester stay behind us.....where they belong.
Van Djik just reads the situation better and clears the ball before Vardy can get a toe on it. It's clearly unfortunate but he's blatantly not done that on purpose. Not sure how you can think otherwise.
To be fair it isn't helped by Vardy having a reputation for being a ****. I still think it was a stamp, he's very late whatever the situation. Hopefully Van Dijk gets his revenge when we meet.
Puel is a smart coach and we had some really good performances and some really poor ones, but the majority were mediocre. And Les didn't help until we brought in Gabbi and we also had the whole Fonte fiasco. Hard to tell how well he will do at Leicester as we can only base it off how he tried to play here, which was totally different to Leicesters counter approach. Be interesting to see if he tries to change that.
Exactly, he knew what he was doing. I don't actively dislike many footballers but Vardy is one of the few I do.
Immense reaction times to guess where Van Djik was going to plant his foot and supposedly alter his run mid air to plant his foot on Van Djik's ankle. Or it's just happened in a hundredth of a second and Van Djik put his foot on the floor in that spot slightly before Vardy because the ****ing ball was there. Come on lad. Get over it. Clearly completely accidental.
