Scunthorpe? Do the youngsters get a chance?

Was just wondering what everyone's views are on this, do you think we should be going all out to win a cup this season and field the strongest team available, or do you think we should be have a predominantly youthful team to get them some experience?

I personally think we should be going for a mixture and wouldn't mind seeing something like this:

Simpson Kadar Coloccini Raylor

Obertan Gosling Vuckic Marveaux

Ba Sammy

Completely forgot about Abeid, Fergie and Dummett, this changes everything.

 

Would like to see the likes of Ba , Guthrie , Kadar , Fergie , Harper , Vuckic , Abeid , Sammy Ameobi , Gosling etc. play.

I wouldn't be surprised if Pardew ignores a few of the youngsters to start Smith, I would be livid.

 

I'd definitely get an experienced team through the middle, something like this should give us enough...

I think there is a decent blend of experience and youth there, gives most players a rest from the first team

 

We can field a pretty senior team yet save a few main players for the Fulham game whilst giving the young lads a chance.

Youngsters are the future of the club whilst Smith has no future at the club.

 

If I see Smith put on a toon top again after the way he played at Gateshead ill scream

I wouldn't want to play too many reserve players because I think Pardew should try and have a go at a cup this season. Key players like Cabaye and Coloccini should be rested. If the game is won then the likes of Barton, Marveaux and Ba should be taken off to keep them fresh for the weekend. Some players need games so that is why Ba and Marveaux are involved in my team.
